Don't allow lust nor any other sinful desire to be engraved on your heart. Sin hardens your heart and makes it stony (in a spiritual sense).
Many times, we tend to have a perspective fixed on people's beauty (their glory) and thereby lust after it (ex. men lusting after the beauty of women and vice versa). This can cause us (men) to get entrapped and become enslaved in sin- thirsting for the glory/pleasures women have to offer by engaging in masturbation/sexual fantasies, kissing/foreplay/fornication, and adultery. We fail during those times to look at women from another perspective- the Biblical perspective. Please refer to the following article 3 Ways to Look and Not Lust which emphasizes to:
(1). count your looks
(2). follow up your look with an appropriate action
(3). give glory to God when you encounter physical beauty (ex. tell God how marvelous He is for creating the beautiful woman you saw).
Another crucial thing to remember in order to set your mind free from slavery to lust is knowing couple of truths:
(i). Man wasn't made for woman, rather woman was made for man.
1 Cor. 11:7-9 (NLT):
"A man should not wear anything on his head when worshiping, for man is made in God’s image and reflects God’s glory. And woman reflects man’s glory. 8 For the first man didn’t come from woman, but the first woman came from man. 9 And man was not made for woman, but woman was made for man."
Many times as men, out of our loneliness and craving for romance and sex, we feel that we can't live without women. This is a mental trap which can imprison you. Go to God's word and remind yourself that man doesn't live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God (God's word). Similarly, as men, we don't need women nor anything else in this world as the source to sustain us. We only need God. When we depend on any human or object in this world to sustain us, it becomes idolatry and we invite God's curse on ourselves (refer to Jeremiah 17:5-8).
Men in the Bible who easily got women also became spiritual failures. David was said to be a man after God's own heart. However, he also chased a woman (Bathsheba) into his own destruction. His son, Solomon had 1,000 wives who led his heart astray from God. It proves that you can't pursue both God and sin at the same time. Only one thing can be no. 1 in your heart at any given time. When God is replaced with anything, including a woman, you place yourself under His curse and destruction. I've learned a vital lesson which applies to all men- keep God no. 1 in your heart. Don't pursue women because of lust and loneliness. God has promised that He will take care of all of your needs if you will pursue Him and His righteousness. This means, if you do your part, then the ball is in God's court (it's God's move for Him to take care of your sexual needs through a wife). A believer is a member of the Body of Christ, and thus he/she will be connected to other genuine Christians as they make up the same Body. This is one way you can tell apart carnal Christians from genuine Christians. When you meet a "Christian" who mistreats you, know that they are not part of the Body of Christ. They are impostors sent by the devil to deceive and destroy others (wolves in sheep's clothing). When you have an unfulfilled need, the rest of the Body of Christ will be affected and suffer also (just like how if you injured a particular area on your own body, your entire body would sense it and be affected by it). However, again, be aware that carnal Christians (sociopaths) will not care if you suffer in any way. They actually enjoy seeing others suffer as they are sick in their heads. Thus, let God bring the right woman (godly woman) into your life. How long can a person be tormented seeing other people in church romancing, dating, engaging in sexual immorality but expected by both God and everyone else (i.e. conservative Indians/Malayalees) to not do the same (i.e. not be able to date, remain sexually pure, and moreover be forced to marry someone who they don't even want to (through arranged/forced marriage)? Let God sort out your life. The last thing you need is a sociopathic promiscuous girl that doesn't fear nor love God. When a person engages in sexual promiscuity, it's an act of hatred against God, themselves, their future spouse, as well as their former partners' future spouses. Don't be desperate for such trash. You deserve much better. Someone who loves and fears God will be the right person for you. It doesn't matter how beautiful or successful a girl is if she's a narcissistic sociopath (someone who has a dead conscience in regards to morals/God's commandments, doesn't fear and love God). Such a person will be a horrible choice to have as a companion. When you see sexual immorality rampant around you, don't let the world turn you into a sociopath also who indulges in sexual promiscuity. The world around us has serious psychological issues in which they choose to ignore (live in denial) sexual promiscuity as a problem. Sociopaths are Satan's children. However, Satan could care less about his human followers. He enjoys seeing His own children destroy each other in so many different ways. That is truly a sick father. Yet, people rather follow the devil's evil ways because they love sin. They hate God who has offered His love to them, and instead they love to follow Satan and his ways. This is how much twist, dark, and confused the minds of people in this world have become. Satan has transformed this world into a system which enslaves people and destroys them (Satan has created various objects of lust in the world to serve as a smokescreen for his real agenda of destroying people).
I'm reminded of the song "Give us clean hands" by Chris Tomlin.
So many times, I've thought that I needed women or certain types of food and beverages (which ended up being junk foods) to keep me happy and give me the euphoria I need when I find myself down because of the problems I face in life. I've learned to see God as the One who alone sustains me. In the process, God has given me wisdom to filter through things and see what I really need in my life right now. That saves you money, energy, and heartache. It gives you true peace and happiness. Of course your sinful nature (the enemy within you) will try to argue with your voice of reason and say that you need more. Don't be deceived by your sinful nature, Satan, his demons, and the world around you. I've learned from the life of Jesus while He was on earth. He had no one that He could depend on, not even His own disciples. He didn't have a wife nor a girlfriend. He relied only on God to sustain Him and this is what He shared through many of His teachings for us to follow (ex. refer to Matthew 6:25-34). If God gives you a wife someday, recognize that He is the the source of all good things. If He doesn't give you a wife, know that it means that you don't need a wife, and instead you only need God. It could be a phase of singleness where God teaches you to be dependent only on Him. If you think about it, you came into this world by yourself and you will leave this world by yourself. God was the only one present with you when you were created and He will be the only one with you when you cross the River of Death and pass into eternity. God gives us things and doesn't give us things for our own good. He also does this in order for His purpose in our lives can be fulfilled. That purpose (mission) for our lives is much greater than our carnal desires that we're waiting to be quenched.
(ii). Our bodies weren't created by God for sexual immorality. Our bodies were created for serving God. God instituted sex within the boundaries of marriage so that godly children would be conceived for His own glory and purpose. Thus, God didn't create sex to serve our carnal desires. Nor did God create us to serve our carnal desires. Everything, including us and the biological processes we partake in like sex, was created to serve Him and glorify Him. When you crave for the euphoria brought by sex, learn to recognize who created sex in the first place. God created it. Hence, who is truly the source of euphoria? God. Thus, if you can't have sex in a godly manner (i.e. within the boundaries of marriage), seek God for euphoria and for all your cravings to be quenched by His power. Learn to see God inside and all around you. Close your eyes and take deep breaths. When you breathe in, know that God's force/power is coming inside of you (as He is omnipresent). This will allow your mind to become attune with His presence. I usually get a powerful tingling/electrical sensation when I do this. It runs from inside of my head and it radiates to my lower body. When you are reminded of God's presence, it helps you take your mind off idols like lust and sex and instead onto God, who is greater than all of those things. Remember to not allow yourself to be mastered by anything in this world (ex. lust/sex, food, entertainment, wealth, etc.). You weren't created for them, they were created for you so that you could use them to glorify God in a godly manner. Thus, you should be their master, and not allow them to be the master of your heart and mind. Distractions will always be there to try and make you stumble, however, when distractions like lust or anything else comes, learn to focus your mind through them and remain pure. Learn to use the word of God like a lightsaber to bat and hit your distractions away from your mind (refer to the Youtube clip of Ezra's struggle to focus in episode 4 of Star Wars Rebels Season 1 entitled "Rise of the Old Masters").
1 Cor. 6:12-13 (NIV):
“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything. 13 You say, “Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both.” The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
Remember to recognize the 5 main tactics of narcissistic sociopaths (ex. Satan, his demons, human sociopaths) against you:
In general, women are narcissistic sociopaths (because of the the origin of sin and it's consequences/curses in the Garden of Eden with the first man and woman). In Genesis chapter 3, God foretold us that women would desire to control men because of their fall. Who desires to control others for their own agenda? Narcissistic sociopaths. Even though women would have this strong desire, as punishment for their disobedience and rebellion, God's judgment against them was that men would rule over their wives. I've observed most women to be opportunistic parasites who feed off of other's weaknesses and strengths. For example, many Indian women love to find deficiencies in your knowledge in order to attack you psychologically, reject you, and allow them to feel elated (feeds their narcissistic ego). If they find wisdom and success in a man (your strengths), then they will latch onto you (by getting into a relationship) and then use you for their own narcissistic agenda of glorifying themselves (this is the tendency in most women regardless of race). Indian women (ex. grandmothers, mothers, wives, aunts, siblings, cousins, girlfriends, single girls, etc.) are some of the nastiest characters I've come across. Many Indian women have a sick obsession with competing with another and tearing each other down. They draw the males around them (as well as their children, both males and females) into their narcissistic competition war. If you are around them and you are found useless to them, they will tear you down psychologically to the point of you developing health problems (both mental as well as other diseases which affect your other organs, I've shed light more regarding this in other posts.). From my observation, they are a source of depression and I've learned that it's best to stay away from such narcissistic sociopaths who are detrimental to your own health. What is the point of trying to pursue and win over women if they are narcissistic sociopaths (a mentally ill person)? That's why they drive you crazy in the process. It's a chasing after the wind. I've even observed more and more Indian women having bipolar disorders. I talked to one girl and she told me how she had a psychological breakdown and developed bipolar disorder because of the psychologically abusive environment she was in (Indian communities tend to very psychologically and physically abusive environments). Thus, in their narcissistic war with each other, they inflict mental disorders onto each other as well as onto males around them. Women (regardless of race) tend to be shrewd vipers who use their beauty to lure men to use them for their own agendas. They are one of the most dangerous and destructive forces known to man. I've been learning more and more to not be deceived by their superficial beauty and instead see them for what they are under their skin (on different levels). Physically, they are nothing more than muscle, blood vessels, blood, adipose tissue, nerves, other tissues, organs, etc. (aka "flesh and blood"). Hence, they are not much different from any animal. Men tend to lust after women's breasts. However, have you seen what's under the skin of such structures like breasts? Go to Google images and look up the term "breast dissection." You'll see muscle, fat, and blood. This is what we're really lusting after because the skin hides the inside gore and we're left with an impression of superficial beauty on our minds. From a spiritual perspective, as I've already stated, many women tend to be narcissistic sociopaths underneath their superficial beauty. A narcissistic sociopath is cancerous and an opportunistic parasite. Thus, women are one of Satan's most powerful weapons (psychological warfare) that he uses against men. In other words, Satan uses women as honey traps against us. Loneliness, depression, sexual addictions, etc. are psychological traps for many people. Samson (a character in the Bible) was someone who struggled with sexual addictions. His Achilles heel (weakness which caused his own downfall) was women. One famous example in the Bible is the Philistines using Delilah as a honey trap against Samson (refer to Judges 16:4-30). From birth, Samson was dedicated by his parents to serve God, as a Nazirite. However, women were a sexual weakness of Samson, just like cutting off his hair would weaken his strength. His sexual weaknesses became his downfall as he revealed what would weaken his strength (i.e. cutting his hair) to Delilah (his sexual weakness). Thus his weak point was exploited by one of his weaknesses to bring about his destruction. How crafty Satan is in trying to destroy God's people! Delilah then went and revealed this to the Philistines which became the downfall of Samson. From the story of Samson and Delilah you can see many things:
(1). Samson struggled with sexual immorality/addictions (refer to Judges 16:1) which clouded his judgment. In Judges chapter 14, we read of how the beauty of a Philistine woman caught the eye of Samson. The Philistines were the enemy of the Israelites and worshiped false gods. God Himself had commanded the Israelites earlier to not marry among other nations/tribes who worshiped other gods (as this would lead the Israelites astray into sins like idolatry). A Nazirite was supposed to uphold such general commandments which God had given to all of Israel and also even more stringent rules which were applicable only to Nazirites. Samson failed in this aspect. However, it's interesting to note that vs. 4 of Judges 14 states that "the Lord was at work in this, creating an opportunity to work against the Philistines, who ruled over Israel at that time." It's difficult to understand how God works at times especially in this instance. Did He stir up Samson's heart to pursue a forbidden Philistine woman? That's difficult for me to accept as the Bible states that God doesn't tempt anyone into sin. So then instead, did God see Samson's heart already turned away from Him (as Samson was ignoring God's commandments and choosing to look at forbidden things) and use Samson's sin and failure to bring about good for Israel? I think the latter makes more Biblical sense. I believe God can bring out good from evil (though I must admit, that can be a painful and hard thing to accept, especially when you have been severely wronged by people). Samson's downfall started when he started to despise/disregard God's commandments all in order to please himself. We can learn from this failure and make ourselves as better servants to God by loving God with all of our heart. How do we love God with all of heart, soul, mind and strength? By obeying His commandments to live a holy life. When we do this, we become greater superheroes than Samson was. Always learn to use the failures of Bible characters in order to make yourself even better than them to please God. When you see women being weaknesses and the downfall of other men, learn to use that lesson and become better and stronger than them.
(2). Samson adored women he loved to the point of compromising himself and his weaknesses. Let me explain. The first Philistine woman whom Samson was set to marry was threatened by her fellow Philistines because they couldn't figure out the answer to the riddle Samson had given them (refer to Judges 14:15). They knew they would lose the wager with Samson, and so they wanted to cheat by demanding Samson's fiance to give them the answer. Thus, Samson's fiance was compelled under duress to try and entice Samson for the answer to the riddle. At first Samson resisted, but his fiance kept tormenting him by nagging him constantly, and he eventually caved in and gave her the answer. She then went and told the Philistine men and they won the wager with Samson by cheating. Samson lost this battle and this would also cause him to lose his fiance to another man. However, God uses Samson's failure and anger against the Philistines to punish and destroy them when Samson went out to avenge himself. Another example is with Delilah (refer to Judges 16:4-21). Samson was blinded by his love for Delilah also. Just like the first Philistine woman, Delilah also tormented Samson by nagging him to reveal the source of his strength as well as what would weaken him. Delilah was betraying Samson all in order to become rich (as the Philistines promised her financial reward). At this point, I'd like to add a lesson regarding women- women have a high tendency to do anything for money, even to the point of whoredom and even betrayal of men. They are also experts at tormenting men through nagging. I believe money is a false god which women serve in order to satisfy their narcissistic desires to glorify and elate themselves. Like I said earlier, women don't mind destroying themselves (through whoredom) and others (through betrayal and deceit) in the process of elevating themselves with a fake and perverted form of worldly/ungodly glory. A woman's beauty, charm, seduction, crying, and nagging all affect men psychologically in a powerful way to let down their guards to cause their own fall. Also in relation to lust, just like how women kept nagging Samson to his destruction, the devil, his demons and your sinful nature also torment you constantly by nagging you to sin. You must resist their nagging continuously in order to protect yourself.
(3). Sometimes, Samson struggled with narcissism/failed to give God glory and he also struggled with lack of faith/grumbling against God (refer to Judges 15:16-18). He praised his weapon (jawbone of a donkey) and himself for killing a thousand Philistines. He boasted in himself and then tells God that "You have accomplished this great victory by the strength of your servant." Samson was deluded. The Spirit of God was the source of Samson's strength. Samson was merely a tool in the hands of God. Can a hammer tell you that it was able to drive a nail all by itself? No, a hammer gets its power from the power of your upper limb. Without your power, it has no power and it isn't able to drive a nail or do anything else. Similarly, we need God to empower us in order to do everything. God didn't even need Samson to achieve victories. God has power to send down fire from heaven to consume entire armies. God has power over nature and can cause earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc. which can easily destroy armies. What about asteroid and meteors in space. People are afraid that such rocks in space can destroy the earth altogether. God has control over all of those things. However, in the Bible, God uses humans as heroes in order to show us that He wants to have a special relationship with us (a child and Father) in which we depend on Him for strength. The title "children of God" is something we tend to not fully grasp. It's a glorious title because we are like gods as God is our Father. By gods I mean, not entities to be worshiped, rather beings who are powerful and glorious in a divine way (divine superheroes who are empowered by God). I believe God wants us to be divine superheroes against sin and be examples of righteousness just like Him. We are made in God's glorious image, but out of dust. Our composition from dust makes us weak even though God has given us glory also. I believe this is a God given balance to make us humble and always depend on God. This brings Him glory and it humbles us (it protects us from self-destructive narcissism which was the cause of Lucifer's fall. Lucifer was the seal of perfection and beauty. This caused Lucifer to become a narcissist. The moment Samson allowed his hair to be cut off, the Spirit of God left him and he became weak (refer to Judges 16:17,20). Again, obeying God's commandments allows us to be pure and holy. This allows God's Spirit to dwell in us and empower us. Do you think God's Spirit is going to dwell in a sin infested place? It's like you expecting a guest to dwell in an unclean/unsanitary room. It's the same with God. If sin is present in our lives, God's Spirit will not dwell in us, as He can't stand sin (sin is like mud/dirt in a room where it's not supposed to be). I think at times, Samson failed to realize God was the real source of His strength instead of his hair. I think Samson failed to realized during those times that his obedience to God (in not cutting his hair) allowed the Spirit to remain in him. I think God was very patient with Samson though. Samson engaged in sexual immorality before he was overpowered by the Philistines. At that time, the Bible doesn't indicate that God's Spirit left him altogether. It's also true that before Samson's death, when Samson called out to God, the Spirit of the Lord returned to him to give him a final victory. I think the lesson for us is, don't test the waters by seeing how much you can sin freely. You never know when God will declare He's had enough and departs us. You also don't know how long God has numbered your days on earth. Dying in sin and unrepentance will cause you to perish in eternity. Many times we feel that God's commandments to live holy is burdensome as we cherish temporary euphoria by engaging in sins like sexual immorality. We fail during those times to realize that God has given us commandments for our own good- to keep us out of trouble. You can see that clearly in the story of Samson. Samson's disobedience to God gave advantage to his enemies which caused his own fall.
God doesn't struggle with lust as He has no desires to be met by anyone, especially from humans. When Jesus lived on the Earth, He never had a wife or a girlfriend. He lived a single's life during His entire time here. In his times of loneliness and temptations, He never sinned by lusting after women or anything else in this world. We must recognize that as true power and glory. Not sinning your entire life is where real strength/power and glory lies in. That's what really makes you a god (refer also to John 10:34-39 and Psalm 82:6). That's why Jesus is God. We must imitate God in that way by learning to get rid of such desires which make us pursue and be dependent on humans and their beauty. When we depend on something else to make us happy or give us strength, it signifies weakness in us. Hence, when we get rid of such desires, we show our strength like a god (a child of God)- we come a superhero. The entertainment industry has invented fictional superheroes to entertain us with their magical powers. However, you have the potential to become a real superhero/god by resisting the power of sin. Satan , his demons, and wicked people around you want to rob you of that power. That is why they tempt you into sin and try to torment you in every was possible. When temptations come, learn to recognize their taunts against you, "You are no god/divine superhero. You are a slave to sin and thus a slave to us. You are not a child of God. You have no power. We have power over you." Respond back by simply ignoring them as they are sociopathic bullies who feed off of getting you worked up and manipulating you to retaliate in an aggressive manner.
What should've been the right attitude of Samson? Samson should've humbly asked God to provide him water and trusted that God would do this. He also should've given glory to God for empowering him to be victorious against the Philistines.
Hence, what are the lessons for us? When we find ourselves lacking things in this world, we should also humbly ask God to provide us with whatever need and trust Him that He will provide. We should also depend only on God to empower us and deliver us from all of our problems we face in life. Give glory to God alone for your victories. Never give glory to yourself nor anything/anyone else.
(4). Throughout the life of Samson, despite His wickedness, we can see God helping and empower him, when he didn't deserve it. Like I said before, Samson was a narcissist who found pride in his own strength. I believe this is something we all struggle with (being proud about our own strength, intellect, accomplishments, beauty/attraction, etc.). When reading the story of Samson, I've always wondered why Samson never really grew closer to God in a more deeper and spiritual walk with Him. He was betrayed by the women he adored and loved. Why didn't he learn from his painful lessons to drop the pursuit of women and instead pursue God? I've had to ask myself the same question as the same thing has happened to me. Whenever I've tried to find a woman who would be the source of support and strength, I've failed and only ended up getting hurt more and more. When I look back and also when I look now at my life, I've recognized God trying to get my attention through various ways (especially trying to help me regarding various things in my life when no one else would). It's like His way of calling out to me saying, "I'm here for you, even if no one else wants to be." Why do I push Him aside then to desire human relationships? Perhaps, the problem lies within our sinful nature (in wanting to desire human relationships more than pursuing a meaningful relationship with God). Our sinful nature tries to compromise. We rather push God away because we fantasize about being with our "dream partner" who we think will satisfy all of our romantic and sexual desires, something we can't see God doing. Perhaps, it is my own sinful nature that craves a romantic relationship/companionship so much that even though it knows that it is risky (as it can end up failing and being a source of pain instead of happiness), it wants to overlook that and live in denial of this truth. "The spirit is willing, but the flesh (sinful nature) is weak." Our sinful nature will never desire God, as it is hostile to God (refer to Romans 8:7). Thus, the story of Samson has helped me to recognize the main problem within me that prevents me from pursuing God and enjoying true peace and happiness with Him, it is my own sinful nature. Why did God help Samson when Samson really didn't care about pursuing Him? Perhaps, it was to show Samson that when human relationships fail, God won't fail you. Perhaps, this was God's way of trying to get through Samson's thick skull that His love and faithfulness towards him is greater than any love that a human has to offer. I believe it was also to show many generations later (people like you and me) that this is still true, in regards to each of us (i.e. no one will ever love us or be faithful to us the way God will be). It was a woman (Delilah) who brought down the strength of Samson (the strength he received from God). By having Samson's hair to be cut off, Delilah caused God's Spirit to leave him (as cutting his hair was a violation of God's commandment for Samson). It shows that humans can't empower anyone, rather they can take whatever God given strength you have (especially by turning your heart against God). Only God will empower you instead of weakening you. I believe this is something God has been trying to teach me: never let anyone come between my faith and relationship with Him [especially carnal minded Christians (as well as carnal minded non-Christians) and their false doctrines and practices].
James 4:7 (NLT):
"So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
Blaster bolt stopped in mid-air and Poe Dameron subdued by Kylo Ren
Kylo Ren using the Force to stop a blaster bolt as well as subdue Poe Dameron
Kylo Ren was evil. However, I like how he was talented and had raw power from the Force. Thus, learn to use God's power to become powerful in a good way to fight against your dark side (sin) instead. In other words, become ruthless against sin.
I've observed even many "Christian" women around me leading their husbands' hearts astray from God because of their own narcissistic agendas. That was a warning sign personally for me to be very cautious of women. Women's rejection/mistreatment of you can depress you. If they can induce mental illnesses like BPD (bipolar disorder) in each other (through their psychological abuse against each other), they can do the same to you. Don't be deceived by other people's display of love and sex. It's all designed to deceive you and trap you in idolatry and covetousness. Women tend to be narcissistic sociopaths who make you jump hoops for them to win their approval (you can see this in mothers, wives, girlfriends, etc.). In the process of winning their approval, you can get destroyed. Such women don't care about your destruction as they only care about their own glorification by using you. No matter how beautiful, charming and nice a girl may seem on the outside, the truth is that no human can ever be trusted as they are all corrupted by a sinful nature. This allows them to turn against you without any notice (warning) to you. That's why God says to only trust and depend on Him for all of your needs.
From my past rejections, abuse/mistreatment and contempt at the hands of women, I've learned how to transform such negative things into joy by looking at the example of Jesus Christ. Christ also suffered rejection and contempt. However, Christ lived His life on earth by looking at His future reward from God. He learned to see through His suffering onto His prize awaiting Him. Jesus knew that if He endured His suffering, God would would exalt Him and would make His enemies His footstool.
I was also reminded of how various intelligence agencies use women as honey traps (from information found on the internet and the news). Some famous examples include, the ISI using Mcnaught Damini to spy on the Indian Air Force and the Mossad using Erika Chambers against Ali Hassan Salameh (refer to the documentary found on Youtube "Mossad: The world's most effective spy agency"). It just shows how women can be deceitful beauties both in the espionage world as well as the lives of regular people like you and me. Your eyes can deceive you (especially because of beauty), hence, don't trust your eyes for right judgment.
It took me a long time to finally learn that Satan uses girls today as honey traps to get godly people into trouble. In my experience and observations, I've learned the hard way that sociopathic Indian Christian girls (as well as sociopaths among Indian girls who are unbelievers of other religious faiths) are used by Satan like "honey traps" against all men (especially genuine believers who are non-sociopaths). Of course, this applies to girls of other races also. I remember in middle school when I saw a white girl humiliate a white kid who was treated like an outcast by the entire class. When he was getting bullied, this girl (who was a popular girl, attractive, but a harlot) acted like she wanted to be nice to him. What she did was was, she told other people that she liked him and was interested in him. These people went and told this guy that he should ask her out. He kept getting pressured to do it. One day in front of everyone, he asked her out and she rejected him publicly. It was such a humiliating thing for him as everyone was laughing at him. I was stunned seeing that and it scared me that girls could be so cruel (for some reason, this girl was nice to me and even hugged me once when she saw me at a store back then). I was pretty much the only one who talked to the guy that year. Even then, he acted like a sociopath towards me. He left our school after that year and moved to some other school district (which I believe was because of all the bullying he endured). Couple of my friends came across him later on during high school and they told me how he became Gothic/Emo or something like that. This is what bullying does to people, it truly destroys them psychologically. Such sociopathic girls are experts at flirting with you, misleading you by making you feel like they are interested in you. However, they are chameleons and change their colors whenever they feel like it. Thus, then they can play hard to get or reject you altogether by making you feel inferior/not good enough for them. They are nothing but trashy harlots. I've learned to never be deceived by such vipers because of their beauty and charm. They will bite you with their sociopathic venom and enjoy seeing it destroy you psychologically. Such sociopathic girls will then proceed to gossip about you and engage in character assassinations against you (smearing your reputation among everyone). However, the time has come to expose these trashy characters and especially their father, the devil, regarding their evil works and strategies. Know this truth, there can never be harmony between Christ and the devil (i.e. God's children and Satan's sociopathic children). When carnal Christians try to befriend you, see them for the snakes they are and stay away from them. They are only out to destroy you for their pleasure. They are assassins working for the devil. These are the assassins nowadays giving HIV/STD's to others, misleading and destroying others psychologically and then getting glorified with cake and ice cream in their glamorous weddings. An utter abomination and utter stupidity of those who allow it to happen.
These type of narcissistic sociopathic harlots in churches who act as honey traps against their fellow Christians are all made possible by Calvinist teachers and followers/supporters of Calvinism. Today's seminaries and Bible colleges are the true root of the problem for the evil seen in churches today (ex. Brethren, Pentecostal, etc.). Calvinism is the sociopathic ideology which attracts and even creates sociopaths. When sociopathic girls can find nourishment from carnal false doctrines, they have the license to go and destroy people's lives. Thus, not only are these sociopathic girls the common enemy to men today, the false teachers are the real enemy who train and equip such girls to be sociopaths. I've seen Malayalee guys getting screwed by such girls, but many don't want to ever accept the truth regarding the corruption of churches caused by false teachers and their false doctrines like Calvinism- as the source of girls' sociopathy. It's like they allow themselves to be screwed further.
Refer to the following links to understand the rising trend of sociopathy (evidenced by cunning manipulation and control of men) by modern women (both among carnal minded Christians and non-Christians). I've especially observed this among older and younger Indian/Malayalee women (ex. grandmothers, mothers, sisters, wives, other female relatives, and non-relatives like women in church). Many of these women are no different from fellow sociopaths like in the case of Dalia Dippolito (who was caught soliciting for the assassination of her husband).

(iii). I believe that every temptation (lust, discontent, etc.) we face is a test to see if we are worthy to be children of God in eternity. Only when we overcome our temptations (until the day we die) is when we will be considered worthy of being co-rulers with Christ (refer to Revelation 3:21). I believe these tests on earth are the pathway to certify us being promoted to "gods" (aka sons of the Most High) in eternity. I don't believe this means that we replace God as the Most High and the sole object of worship. Being "gods" means that we will have greater authority and power in God's structure of leadership for all of His creation. For example, currently we have dominion over the animal kingdom on earth. Certain people also have greater authority and power in government, workplace, etc. Husbands have authority over their wives. In eternity, we will have greater authority and power over God's creation. It's a mystery, but I believe that we will only be second only to God the Father in eternity. From a spiritual perspective, God has already seated us in heavenly places through Christ (as we are members of His Body) when we become believers. However, we're not fully able to enjoy that while on earth. Flesh and blood can't inherit God's kingdom, and so through death, we must pass from earth and onto the spiritual realm in order to enjoy the blessings awaiting for us in the spiritual realm. There are spiritual beings (perhaps angels or some other beings) which are part of God's current great assembly of leaders (refer to Psalm 82:1) who have greater power and authority than us right now (similar perhaps to a board of governors). In that leadership system, God is the Most High and everyone answers to Him. I believe that in eternity, we will become part of God's great assembly of rulers and only Jesus Christ (the Son of God who is our brother) will be on the same level as us and God the Father will be above us. Christ made a great sacrifice for us as He was willing to suffer unjustly (because of our sins) all in order to pave the way for us to become part of God's royal family, become His brothers and sisters, and thereby become co-rulers/co-inheritors with Christ. Which one of us would be ready (without any hesitation) to do that for others (i.e. humbling ourselves to suffer unjustly to the point of dying all in order for the benefit of someone else)? Thus, Christ truly shows what real power and glory is about- it's about humility, selflessness, servant-hood, contentment in God, being happy for others, love, and self-control (in contrast to the perversion of power we see today though pride/conceit, selfishness, domination, greed, envy and hatred).
To receive such a promotion in the future, we must be tested now to see if will be righteous or if we will be corrupt. How can a "god" ever be evil and corrupt? God can't allow evil and corrupt leaders (like Satan and his fallen angels) as part of His heavenly assembly of leadership in eternity. Satan and his fallen angels have power and authority now (which they have used to destroy the earth), but it will be stripped away from them because of their corruption and rebellion. That's why God is trying to train us to get rid of our evil behavior now so that He can promote us in the future. I'm reminded of how a person has to face tests and trials to become a Jedi in Star Wars. I think it's similar for humans who want to become children of the Most High ("gods"). We must learn to become Masters against psychological warfare/sin.
John 10:33-36 (NIV):
“We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”
34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods”’? 35 If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set aside— 36 what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’?
Psalm 82:6 (NIV):
“I said, ‘You are “gods”;
you are all sons of the Most High.’
(iv). I've also learned to behave like God pertaining to being content and not desiring any needs to be met by things in this world. The Bible reveals that God has no needs to be met (refer to Acts 17:25) . If you think about it, that's what real power is about. Having needs to be met makes you weak and dependent on other things. If you have no needs to be met, then you become independent from things like lust and other things we crave in this world. We can't become independent from things of this world unless we make God our source of contentment (refer to Isaiah 55:1 and John 7:37) I've started to meditate on these truths more and more when facing temptations. If I'm supposed to be a child of God, then I too should act like Him to exercise self-control. When temptations like lust come, I can remind myself that God doesn't have lustful desires to be met and therefore, I no longer need to think that I need to satisfy my temptations of lust. If you have been born again through the Holy Ghost, you have a new nature which is a godly one which is no longer a slave to sin.
Also, know that controlling your tongue (speech) is the path to moral perfection. Why? It's because our tongues are the most difficult things to tame/control. We tend to gossip or say something which can hurt someone else. Hence, if you learn to keep your mouth shut, the power to tame will develop into controlling ourselves in every other way (including lust). This is what the Bible says.
James 3:2 (NLT):
"Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way."
(v). Remember that sexual sins are sins against your own body (refer to 1 Cor. 6:18). I've heard people even on TV joking about how masturbation involves someone molesting themselves. Of course, that's not a joke, it's the reality which we are blinded to because of the strong power of lust on our minds. How many times have you felt defiled after masturbating? You get a temporary euphoria followed by the feeling of dirtiness/defilement of your own body, emptiness, and discontent which just continues as a vicious cycle of sin (all designed to deceive and destroy you). This is how you become a slave to sin. Remember that Satan and his demons hate our bodies. They love tempting us and then watching us defile and destroy ourselves. They are really sick in their heads. There is an enemy within us, our sinful nature who cooperates with them to bring about our own destruction. Learn to recognize these enemies and their tactics. Don't allow yourself to be blinded and deceived by them. It's interesting to note that in the future, even the Antichrist will not bother desiring women (refer to Daniel 11:37). The Antichrist (along with the False Prophet) will be the ultimate human narcissistic sociopath- the official human manifestation of Satan in the future. The Antichrist will be too focused on himself and his own agenda to spare time chasing and thinking about women. See how Satan and his demons will not tempt the Antichrist with women (all in order to achieve their agendas), but they bombard us with lustful temptations all in order to destroy our time, focus, energy, and purity. Don't fall for their sociopathic deception anymore! In the Bible, Israel's main problem was maintaining inner purity. They struggled with many sins, especially idolatry and sexual immorality. The devil and his demons deceived them to be unfaithful to God. God finally wrote a certificate of divorce to Israel for cheating on Him and running off with other lovers (idols). He exiled them (for around 2,000 years) from the land He had given them, as punishment. Likewise, we too must realize that we are being unfaithful to God when idolize women and commit sexual sins. When your mind wanders off to idolize women (or anything else in this world), learn to bring it back to focusing and adoring God instead. When lustful desires come, pray to God to give you the wisdom and strength to recognize it as idolatry. Lust can be an addictive idol in your life (refer to the articles on this other blog also "Addiction: A Golden Idol"). Women didn't give you your breath of life. Only God can give the breath of life (refer to the Youtube clip below for the song "Enough" by Jeremy Camp). Thus, learn to put God as the dominant thought in your heart and mind by seeing Him as the force that sustains you. So many times, I've pursued junk food and drinks to satisfy my hunger and thirst instead of getting wholesome and healthy foods. I noticed that junk foods and sodas leave you more hungry and thirsty. When I've switched to more healthier food and water, I've noticed my cravings of hunger and thirst satisfied. I believe it's similar with God. Lusts of the world give us a temporary euphoria and leave us unsatisfied, wanting for more. However, with God, it is different. When you struggle with lust, run to God. Ask Him to satisfy your desire for sex and companionship. If you run to God, your euphoria won't end and you will be quenched.
Daniel 11:37 (authorized KJV):
"Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all."
1 Cor. 6:18 (NIV):
"Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body."
1 John 5:21 (NLT):
"Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts."
Job 31:1-4 (GW):
" “I have made an agreement with my eyes.
Then how can I look with lust at a virgin?
2 What would God above do to me?
What would be my inheritance from the Almighty on high?
3 Aren’t there catastrophes for wicked people
and disasters for those who do wrong?
4 Doesn’t he see my ways
and count all my steps?."
Matthew 5:27-30 (NLT):
“You have heard the commandment that says, ‘You must not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 So if your eye—even your good eye—causes you to lust, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your hand—even your stronger hand—causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell."
(vi). Sexual sins are also a defilement of other people's bodies. Whether it's sexual fantasies or actual sexual intercourse with someone, you are defiling and destroying them physically, psychologically, and spiritually. How many sex abuse victims are in constant pain and in tears all because their offenders weren't able to control their perverted desires? I believe that sex predators aren't the only ones who are the sick and disgusting people out there. Those who struggle with sexual fantasies and sexual promiscuity are just as sick and perverted as they don't mind defiling themselves and other people's bodies out of lust. In other words, both sex predators as well as the sexually promiscuous have a common trait in them- they are obsessed with lust. If you've been sexually abused, Satan and his demons can use that to torment you to seek sexual promiscuity in order to try and alleviate your pain and injustice. Don't fall for their deception. They're trying to put you in a self-destructive cycle of trying to defile yourselves and others. They also trying to make you into a sex addict who tries to alleviate the pain of their abuse through a deceptive and temporary sexual euphoria (either through sexual fantasies/masturbation or sexual intercourse and promiscuity). When they torment your mind, respond back to them by saying, "I'll show you God's power." Learn to see your thirst and hunger for sex, healing, and companionship as a disguised blessing to reach out to God and experience Him. You never know how your role in sexual immorality can have devastating consequences (physically, psychologically, and spiritually) against others. Don't be the cause of pain and crying for someone else. This is why God has commanded us to love our neighbors (this includes both males and females) like ourselves. Love doesn't mean perverting it into lust. Godly love means to look out for one another and uphold the best interests of each other, instead of gratifying your selfish sexual desires at the expense of someone else's well-being. Therefore, flee all forms of sexual immorality.
(vii). Remember this truth also- God has raised us up with Jesus Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus (refer to Ephesians 2:6-7). Each of us (genuine believers) compose the Body of Christ. Jesus Christ is now the King of kings and Lord of lords (He outranks every human leader on earth as well as every ruler in the spiritual realm). Hence, we are able to share in His power, glory, and dominion. This requires us to be humble and respect both human and spiritual authorities. True power (i.e. spiritual power) is not about having bodyguards/Secret Service agents, a powerful military at your disposal, political power, economic power, etc. (which empower human political leaders). True power is all about humility, servant-hood, love, and self-control. This is what was seen in Jesus Christ while He was on earth. He set the example of what true leadership and power is about and that's why He's been exalted/promoted by God the Father as the King of kings and Lord of lords. It's in contrast to the narcissistic sociopathy (consisting of conceit and domination) seen in human leaders today. I challenge you to practice this spiritual type of true power in your earthly life (ex. school, college, workplace, church, etc.) and see how God will lift you up in due time if you would only humble yourself. Satan and his demons like to make us think we're weak and not significant (a nobody) unless we have roles of power and influence on earth. These are lies as part of their psychological warfare. Don't be deceived by them. They love to create strife between humans by doing such vile and shrewd things. Through Christ, you have authority over Satan and his demons in their evil agendas against you. Through Christ, you are also seated along with Him at the right hand of God the Father. Thus, no human nor any spiritual being (besides God) outranks you. Learn to take advantage of that blessing so that you conquer every problem you face on this earth (refer to Luke 10:17-19). Exercise the authority and power you receive from Christ to conquer and remove all of your problems in life. Demonic spirits are responsible for attacking you with covetousness, lust, fear, anxiety, depression, envy, hatred, etc. Demonic spirits/rulers also influence humans around you to be evil towards you to create problems in your life. You want to experience real divine power against your spiritual enemies? Make them submit to YOU in the name of Jesus Christ. God's power is greater than the power of lust and any other negative thought that tries to mentally enslave/imprison you.
(viii). Remember, you can't serve two masters. You can't serve both God and sin. Neither can you love both God and sin. You have to choose one to serve daily. You have to choose to love one and hate the other. You can choose to serve and love God by obeying His commandments (refer to John 14:15-24, 1 John 3:3-10, and 3 John 1:11), and thereby hating sin. In contrast, disobeying God is equivalent to hating Him and instead loving sin.
(ix). Worship God only and give Him thanks. This will prevent your mind from becoming dark, confused (refer Romans 1:21-24), and enslaved to sin. Jesus also emphasized much on inner purity today which even many Christians (i.e. carnal Christians) ignore today. Our psychological and spiritual power to succeed against sin and the ability to succeed in our education/careers starts with taming our thoughts (refer to Mark 7:20-23). Many times, I've wished that I could be like the Jedi (who were empowered by the Force in the fictional universe of Star Wars) in order to fight against sin. God helped me realize that He is the real Force (power) that exists today and He wants to empower us. Thus, take heart (be encouraged) by the truth that the Holy Spirit can empower you to overcome everything you face in life (ex. sins, problems which seem impossible to overcome) if you will allow Him to come and live in you (refer to John 14:15-17).
(x). If you've been sexually abused in the past, watch out for strong demonic oppression in your life. You can have an increased sex drive and struggle with lust in trying to alleviate your pain of past abuse (in other words, you may feel like you need to have sex in order to even the injustice of sexual abuse against you in the past). Remember, sexual immorality is playing with fire. It's you destroying your own body. Hence, Satan and his demons can be deceiving you to pursue sexual immorality to further destroy yourself. Instead, ask God to heal you from any pain/PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) you may be suffering from. Watch out also regarding how Satan and human sociopaths can keep sex away from you (repression) and thereby make you more sexually aggressive. This can get you into trouble and they will keep repeating this cycle until they destroy you completely.
(xi). I have to challenge myself personally to not be like the rest of mankind (refer to Genesis 6:5-6) who have the tendency to always think/imagine evil desires. Personally, it frustrates me why everyone else after Adam and Eve had to be born with a sinful nature. I wished God had ended and restarted things a long time ago so that we wouldn't be suffering today. Since we don't know why that it is, we can only look through such things which we feel are unfair/unjust and challenge ourselves to be like Noah and find favor with God (refer to Genesis 6:8).
(xii). Lust and sexual promiscuity can turn you into a sex addict (a slave to sin). I'm here to tell you, Christ set you free from slavery to sin. When you feel the urge to satisfy your lust and your sinful nature plays mind games with you, you can laugh at it and say "Get lost! I'm free now!" When I face temptations to satisfy lustful desires, sometimes I play the song "Now we are free" from the movie "Gladiator" to remind myself of the spiritual freedom I've received from Jesus Christ. Refer to the clip below.
(xiii). I've heard that human sex predators can show porn to their victims in order to give themselves a perverted thrill (it's like their initial sexual assault in the form of mind rape). This is demons working through such sociopathic sex predators. I believe that sex predators have been possessed/oppressed by demons by watching demonic things like porn and then turning them into perverted sex predators. Porn (as well as any other source of lust like movies and TV shows which have non-hardcore sex like sensual kissing and foreplay) is a gateway for demonic oppression/possession in your life. Demons also work to tempt you to watch porn so that they can get a perverted sociopathic thrill. Do not fall for the trap of porn or any other form of gratifying your lust. It's all psychological trap designed by the sociopathic perverts like Satan, his demons, and their sociopathic human followers. Your sinful nature is also perverted, so learn to recognize that enemy within your own body also.
(xiv). Learn to tune out the voice of your spiritual enemies who tempt you to sin (ex. Satan, demons, your own sinful nature, and wicked people around you). Instead, tune in to God's voice (refer to John 10:1-21). Remember, the example of sheep (as given in the clip below). Sheep only tune in and listen to the voice of their human shepherd. They ignore everyone else's voice. As humans, we also have a Great Shepherd. God is our Shepherd. We must learn from the sheep (animals) to tune into God's voice and ignore all other voices which tempt us into sin.
(xv). Trying to satisfy lust (through sexual fantasy, porn, masturbation) when you are sexually repressed (i.e. not able to engage in sexual relations within the boundaries of marriage) only makes you more sexually aggressive. It may give you a temporary euphoria, but it can also end up frustrating you more and put you in a self destructive cycle. I believe this is one cause for people becoming sex predators/rapists. They'll see the environment around them having sex (ex. friends, strangers, people on TV and in the movies, etc.) and this can tempt and torment them. That's why even Jesus addressed this problem (refer to Matthew 18:6-9). He warned that sorrow would come to the world and individuals for tempting others. That's why you should do you part to be very careful in not causing others to sin (don't boast about your accomplishments, your love life, you wealth, etc.). When you instill an inadequacy in others, it causes them to covet and fall into sin.
I will be sharing many more points, hence, this is one of my longest posts on my blog. So please bear with me. Please don't skim through this post, rather I hope you take the time to read it and study it carefully. Whenever God has inspired to add points to this post, I've done that as I know how much God's enlightenment has been a blessing to me in my darkest times. Hence, I wanted to shine that enlightenment to others who find themselves in spiritual darkness (those who want to break their chains from slavery to sin). There are so many points in this blog which can seem overwhelming to read. However, learn to use each argument I give you as a psychological weapon against the psychological warfare you face against sin.
Hosea 4:6,14 (NLT):
"My people are being destroyed
because they don’t know me.
Since you priests refuse to know me,
I refuse to recognize you as my priests.
Since you have forgotten the laws of your God,
I will forget to bless your children.
14 But why should I punish them
for their prostitution and adultery?
For your men are doing the same thing,
sinning with whores and shrine prostitutes.
O foolish people! You refuse to understand,
so you will be destroyed."
Proverbs 9:10 (NLT):
"Fear of the LORD is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment."
(1). The Bible teaches us that both men and women are made in the image of God. Hence, their beauty and glory are derived from God. This is what in reality what we are lusting after.
On a side note, I would like to mention something about the importance of understanding the patterns in demonic psychological warfare. I was talking to one of my friends (we''ll call my friend Person A) who has struggled with lust in the past. He's had a lust for older women. He was sharing with me how much he struggled with sexual fantasies regarding them. He gave me specific examples. In both of the examples, the women were married (we'll call the women Person B and Person C). Hence, he fantasied about having adultery with older women. He fantasized about having an adulterous affair with Person B when her husband wasn't at home. He fantasized also about having an adulterous affair with Person C when he had the chance to meet her at the place she worked. He hoped that Person C's husband would mess up so that she would have an affair with him. What was interesting was how while he confined his sin (sexual fantasy) to his own mind, he knew other men (married to other women) who also shared the same sexual lust for these same women (who ended up not keeping their lusts confined to their own minds). One of the men (we'll call him Person Y) ended up having an adulterous affair with one of these women (Person B). The other man (Person Z) tried to seduce and harass the other women (Person C) who was actually his boss- telling her that he hoped her husband would somehow screw up their marriage so that he could have her. Notice how my friend and these other men shared the same sexual fantasies about these women (the only difference was that my friend kept his fantasies confined to his own mind, while the other men enacted them out). When I analyzed these stories carefully, I recognized how much demons work powerfully among people to lead them to the dark side. Satan and his demons target men to lust after the same women to get themselves into trouble and hurt people affected by such adulterous relationships. They like to instill the same type of sexual fantasies among men to target the same women (i.e. two or more men sharing the same sexual fantasies for one or more women). It's an important lesson of how much we need to have our minds and hearts on guard against demonic psychological warfare. From a spiritual perspective, I believe that demons work though disorders like OCD to put intrusive thoughts into people so that they will lust, fantasize, and finally act on those fantasies. Satan and his demons love to get people to act on their impulsive thoughts of fear, doubts, worries, anxiety, lust, excitement/entertainment, depression, hunger, thirst, perfectionism, etc. They deceive people to act on such impulsive thoughts by making them think that they will only get relief from these unwanted thoughts if they act on them. It's all part of their evil strategy to trap people in a self destructive cycle of OCD. I've learned to treat temptations as the way for demons to try and hack into my mind in order to destroy me. I hope you the reader will understand this also and be empowered to control your mind and body to abstain from sin which can land you into deep trouble.
Coming back to my main points:
(2). Furthermore, the Bible teaches us that our bodies are the temple of God. We all know from the Old Testament how the Israelites were supposed to treat the Tabernacle (and later on the Temple) as holy places. Through the work of salvation, God has made it possible to have a closer and intimate relationship with us by dwelling in our bodies. Our bodies have become His Temple- in which we are able to interact with Him in the closest and intimate way. There are no outer courts and curtains/veils which separate us from God anymore. Our inner most being (our soul, spirit, and mind) are able to coexist with God's Spirit in our body. That was His plan from the beginning. God asked David, who can build Him a dwelling place? Humans build beautiful homes, majestic buildings and skyscrapers to dwell in. However, God is not amazed my human craftsmanship. Humans can only build inanimate objects. God rather live in something which He built with His own hands- our bodies which are full of life (not inanimate objects). Is there anything more beautiful and majestic than something which is made in God's own image? Nothing comes close. That shouldn't give rise to pride, rather, we should realize we receive our glory from God.
However, sin defiled our bodies and separated us from God being able to dwell in us. God is holy and thus He can't dwell in a place where sin is present. Sin is an unclean thing. Hence, He has cleansed our bodies through the blood of Christ so that it would be holy for Him to dwell in. Therefore, we need to see and treat each other's bodies as God's temple, and not as an object of lust. If we defile each other bodies through sexual immorality, we invite God's wrath on ourselves. Satan desires to desecrate everything holy and pure. He's done that with the Temple in Jerusalem and now he wants to do the same to our bodies. Who did he use to accomplish those things? Humans. He deceived Israel into idolatry to defile the Temple (refer to Ezekiel 8:12-18) and also led foreign nations to come and desecrate the Temple. He hates anything which is used to glorify God.
The reason why God created us and the reason why He gives us a new day to live is to worship Him! (refer to the song "When I look into Your holiness" by the Maranatha! Singers below on Youtube)
(3). Another aspect is that we all make up the Body of Christ (we're all different parts of Christ's body). Therefore, we have to treat each other with respect and in a holy manner and not violate each other. Defiling and violating each other is equivalent to doing the same to the Body of Christ as we all make up His Body. That's playing with fire- the wrath of God. Remember how much the Israelites and priests having to be careful and reverent around the Tabernacle, later on the Temple, and also the Ark of the Covenant? There have been examples in the Bible where people would be struck dead for touching or entering those areas without God's permission. Also, do you think the priests were serving God in the Temple with lustful thoughts? Were they ever masturbating or engaging in other forms of sexual immorality inside the Temple? They wouldn't dare to do such a vile thing. The same applies to our bodies as Christians. Our bodies are now the home to the Holy Ghost and so we have to treat other's bodies with reverence (not as a lustful/sexual objects). Christ purchased our bodies with His own blood, and so we have the obligation to consecrate our bodies to God's service as our bodies don't belong to us anymore. Our bodies belong to God to be used to glorify Him (refer to 1 Corinthians 6:13-20 and Romans 6:13). Premarital intimacy through kissing, foreplay, and sexual intercourse is forbidden according to the principles and truths we read in the Bible. Carnal Christians preach false doctrines which excuse and negate such fear of God with a cheap and perverted form of grace- which makes people think that they can freely sin and violate each other's bodies. God only gives permission for romantic and sexual exploration of each other's bodies through marriage.
(4). Lust is an evidence of our thirst for God (refer to my posts "Lust is evidence for your thirst for God" and also "Desiring intimacy is evidence of your thirst for God"). instead of thirsting and hunger for the beauty of a woman, realize that your mind has been perverted by your sinful nature and it is being influenced by the corrupt and perverted world around you. You must realize that you came from God as He is your Creator. Before man's fall in the Garden of Eden, man was righteous (didn't have a perverted mind which hungers for the lust of women). If Adam and Eve didn't disobey God, our minds would've been pure today and we wouldn't find ourselves lusting after things in this world. You can say that your programming has been corrupted. So now, it's time for you to go back to your original programming of being righteous like God. Instead of running to porn or nude material to see a woman you lust after, run to God to find Him. The Bible says that God is not far from each of us. What blocks us from experiencing Him is our sinful behavior. Let's use our energy to seek His beauty and follow His righteous ways instead of trying to please our carnal nature by pursuing the lusts of the world.
God wants to interact with you, comfort you and give you hope through His word.
Even demons believe in the existence and unity of God as the Trinity. Furthermore, they fear God.
We receive the Holy Spirit (to dwell in us) when we put our faith in Jesus Christ. He is the new High Priest. No human can take His place as the High Priest. Furthermore, our bodies (God's own craftsmanship) have now become His new Temple (no need for buildings). He's always wanted a close and intimate relationship with His creation. The Tabernacle and the Temples which were built, the curtain which separates the Holy of Holies from the rest of the Tabernacle- were all God's picture to get us to understand that we are unclean because of sin and hence we can't approach Him. However, God still loved us while we were still sinners, and so He created a plan for salvation through His Son Jesus Christ- which would unite us with Him forever by removing sin's power over our lives (refer to Romans 6:5-13), by changing our character and making us holy. When the Holy Spirit dwells in our bodies, our bodies logically become the Holy of Holies. This is what is failed to be understood by many, even Christians. Christians think God has made them already holy and that state can't be changed even if they go back to sinning. The problem is with their attitude. They don't want to change their character by forsaking sin- they want to continue enjoying the pleasures of sin while at the same time enjoying a false sense of holiness in God's eyes (refer to Malachi 2:17). It's a delusional disorder.
(6). Remember, that the pleasures we get from sin now is not worth the consequences of it in eternity. If you let sin control you now, you make yourself the food of maggots in hell in the future (refer to Mark 9:42-48). Look up the term "myiasis" (maggot infestation) in google images. It is not pleasant at all. This is what you'll have to endure for eternity if you don't get rid of and conquer sin.
(7). Keep your eyes (focus) fixed on Jesus Christ. No matter what temptations you face (ex. lust, fear/doubts/worries, etc.), keep your focus on Christ. Peter started sinking because he took his eyes off of Christ and instead onto the wind and strong waves (refer to Matthew 14:28-31). We can learn from Peter's mistake. When lusts, fears or anything else comes into your mind- take your focus back onto God and keep it there. Otherwise, you'll see yourself sinking deeper into sin and unbelief.
(8). Just like how apoptosis can be triggered by a number of mechanisms including deprivation of growth factors, so we also must put to death our sinful nature by depriving it of what it feeds off of (sexual lust, other lusts which attracts our eyes- like sources of entertainment, materialism, etc., gluttony, fears/doubts, etc.). I've realized that the 40 days of fasting that Christ underwent in the desert was a training period for him to master his body (especially overcoming hunger and the need for food) and face bigger temptations from Satan. Many times, our body/sinful nature acts against what is good for us. However, your soul and spirit have control over your body and you must tame it, instead of letting it control you.
(9). Don't let lust or any other form of sin become the idol in your heart and mind. Don't replace God with lust or anything else. This applies to any sinful struggle like fear/doubts/worries/anxiety, etc. When any sinful thoughts/desires enter your mind, remember that you are displacing God and your faith in Him (lusts and fear all destroy your faith in God). Learn to continually be meditating on God's ways, His commandments, and things which please the Holy Ghost (refer to Psalm 119:14-16,113-120 and Romans 8:5) instead of on sinful desires. Learn from the lessons of Israel's idolatry. They failed to honor God's commandments of only loving Him (with all of their heart, soul, and strength) and serving Him only. What was the consequence? God allowed their enemies to invade the land God had given to them. He Himself delivered them from Egypt, defeated all of their enemies and gave the land that God had promised them. After all He had done, Israel became unfaithful to God. Hence, they lost their Temple to their enemies and further, they were exiled from their own land. The same lessons can be applied to us today, for both Jewish and Gentile believers. If we sin (ex. through lust), we give over our bodies and our lives over to sin and Satan (our enemies). God can also allow human enemies to come and cause problems in our lives. When sin comes knocking on our door through our thoughts, banish it before it destroys you. Always remember the tragic story of Israel's fall because of sin. Be like King Josiah who had the right heart to go and smash the idols that were leading Israel astray. The Bible confirms that Josiah knew what it meant to serve God with all of his heart, mind and strength, and that no king before was able to do that better than him (2 Kings 22:25). May that be an inspiration to all of us! No beautiful girl or any other object of lust (money, wealth, entertainment, food, false gods, human celebrities, etc.) should ever take the place of God in our lives. We need to smash every lustful thought out of our hearts and minds. I'm reminded of how Solomon built a bigger house/palace for himself compared to the Temple he built for God (refer to "Solomon's Palace and Temple furnishings"). I realized that I need to be careful in the things I do for myself compared to what I do for God. I've learned to put always God first and give him the best in my life, then put others first, and then put myself last. When you do that, in due time, God Himself will lift you up. Being lowly/last doesn't mean that you're worthless or scum. It's the safest and godly way of rising up without pride/narcissism (which was Satan's failure and cause of his own fall). Pertaining to lust, I've learned that my heart and mind are spiritual places which need to be dedicated to God instead of allowing worldly things to occupy them as the objects of adoration and worship in my life. Early on, Solomon displayed his desire for riches, women, and self glory. This led to his corruption and spiritual failure. I learned from his failures to always keep God first in your heart. Never allow anything else to take God's place in your heart and mind. That is the key to spiritual success (just like King Josiah was commended for). It's never too late (before you die) to repent and turn to God. No matter how many sins you've done, God is waiting for you to turn back to Him so that He can celebrate your return to Him (your Creator) and further restore you and bless you.

The Temple Mount in the modern day- The Dome of the Rock has pushed aside the Jewish Temple
The Foundation Stone inside of the Dome of the Rock- Jewish tradition views it as as the spiritual junction of Heaven and Earth. Jews traditionally face it while praying, in the belief that it was the location of the Holy of Holies in the Temple.
Whenever I look at pictures of the Temple Mount, a grief fills my heart. I feel that God has been displaced from the Temple Mount. Whenever I look at the Foundation Stone inside the Dome of the Rock, it's a grave reminder that the Ark of the Covenant and God's presence is missing from it. God uses that to remind me that I allow God to be be displaced in my own life when I yield to sin. Hence, I should have the same grief and anger when I allow sin to displace God in my body (our bodies are God's Temple in the New Covenant). I believe God wants to dwell in our bodies and be one spirit with us. He himself made our bodies. I'm sure it hurts Him when we don't allow Him to rightfully dwell in us because of the sinful choices we make. Hence, I have to remind myself daily that I need to treat my mind and body as the Temple of God (the Holy of Holies) and not allow God to be displaced by my sinful desires. We need to learn to see and treat our bodies (as well as other people's bodies) as sacred objects (like a Temple or a church building). Today, Jews and Christians aren't allowed to pray or read the Bible on the Temple Mount (on the premises of the Dome of the Rock). That reminded me of how Satan and his demons also want to defile our bodies with sin and displace God from our mind and body. Satan and his demons don't want our bodies to be the Temple of God. Instead, they want it to be used as instrument of sin. Many times, I think about how it must have been been for the various priests and high priests who served in the Tabernacle and the Temples. What a privilege and experience that must have been to be able to experience God's presence! I'd love to eat, sleep, worship God inside the Holy of Holies. I'd love to have the closest interaction with Him. I think about the beauty of the different Temples which were built- all the gold and precious stones used to build them and the sacred objects inside. However, God reminded me that He doesn't care about the beauty of any of those things compared to the beauty He sees in His own craftsmanship- the human body. That showed me how much I think differently compared to God- I have the tendency to look at things from a worldly perspective (outer beauty and materialistic beauty). He's shown me by example to not be superficial. God has shown us that He rather live in the human body and be united with our spirits, instead of dwelling in a man made Temple. I'm grateful to God that I've been able to personally experience His presence in my body. So many times when I'm praying, singing, meditating on Scripture or just talking to Him- I've experienced an electric sensation running through my body. I'm reminded during those times, that my body is supposed to be the Holy of Holies and I'm able to have the most intimate and closest fellowship with Him- I don't need to go to building (Temple) which houses the Holy of Holies to be constantly in His presence. As promised in James 4:8, when I chose to come to near to God, God has come close to me and made my body His temple. That is the biggest honor and privilege.
The Bible says that both Christians and Jews will be persecuted by Satan and the Antichrist during the Great Tribulation. After the end of those days, you will see Jesus Christ coming back to gather His elect (faithful followers) from all corners of the earth. He will come to deliver Israel and Christians (the survivors of the next holocaust during the Great Tribulation). He will come to destroy the Antichrist and his kingdom. Once He has destroyed them and bound Satan, He will establish His millennial rule on earth. Then Israel and the world will know what peace is.
Similarly, many Christians today do the same in building fancy church buildings. Don't get me wrong, building the best for God is a wonderful thing. However, if you neglect to give the same time, energy and consideration to fixing your inner state, everything else you do is useless (including the construction of physical buildings for God). God cares about you addressing the sinful state of the inner state of your body because that (your soul and body) is what is in danger of eternal destruction (refer to Matthew 10:28). Jesus addressed this issue when he called the Pharisees "whitewashed tombs" as they put on a religious act outwardly, but inside, they were wretched hypocrites (refer to Matthew 23:1-36). These religious leaders were still hypocrites even after the Second Temple was built. Hence, they never addressed the root of the problem of their sinfulness (they just put on an outer spiritual/righteous act that couldn't fool God). Jesus taught about how it's our sinful thoughts which defile us and instead we need inner purity (refer to Mark 7:6-23). It brings God more glory and happiness when you repent, turn away from your sins and start obeying Him than anyone constructing a physical building for Him.
Satan uses the media, the internet, and entertainment to influence our thoughts
The media, the internet, various sources of entertainment, people's behavior towards us, etc. can influence our thoughts. As seen in the image above, it illustrates how the man in the picture has so many thoughts entering his mind as he's trying to concentrate on the book he's reading. This is where you have to practice swatting away obtrusive and negative thoughts which hinder your focus. Once I saw a clip of Yoda (Star Wars character) battling Count Dooku in Episode 2. Count Dooku keeps using dark side of The Force (telekinesis) to throw objects at Yoda. Yoda responds back by using the good side of The Force to swat them away. Similarly, I've learned to exercise my mind's muscle to do the same against negative and obtrusive thoughts. Sometimes, I need an additional sensory input to reinforce that. By this I mean, I take like a coin or bottle cap and place it between my fingers. Whenever I need to focus and concentrate on something positive (ex. studying, not think about lustful thoughts, etc.), I flip the bottle cap between my fingers (thumb and index finger) to help my mind flip the negative thought away. Sometimes, I imagine myself hitting the negative thoughts away as baseballs out of the ballpark (my head). I imagine the concept that my mind is the Holy of Holies on the Temple Mount (analogy for my body) which is being fought over by spiritual forces. I picture my mind as being the place where God's Spirit dwells- His Spirit gives me a sound mind. For example, when fears and doubts come into my mind, I turn to God's word which gives me hope and strength. Otherwise, I'd be plagued by anxiety. The world around you has the high tendency to give you anxiety. How many times have you come across anything or anyone in the world that offers you hope? It doesn't because the world is corrupted. They themselves don't have a spiritually sound mind as they are dominated by sin. So who can you turn to? You can only turn to God for hope, strength and the voice of reason you really need. As soon as you entertain sinful thoughts, that sound mind is broken. It's all about meditation- meditating on God and His word. When you learn how to control your mind, you learn how to control your body and your life. When your mind and body controls you, you lose control and this can be self-destructive (refer to Genesis 4:7 and 2 Timothy 1:7). Many times, we underestimate the power and effect of images, messages, and negative behavior from others. Our brain stores them as memories and many times they can pop back into our minds as obtrusive thoughts. Just like how many of us don't pay attention to junk email we get in our inbox, we need to treat our negative thoughts as junk and send them to the trash bin, without spending time opening and entertaining them (dwelling on those thoughts). As the Bible teaches us, "Take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Cor. 10:5). Don't allow your thoughts to hold you captive/enslave you. Instead, hold your evil thoughts captive and enslave them to obey Christ.
We all have a sinful nature that we have to battle with- perhaps you can imagine the sinful nature as a person who looks like the dark side version of you (your evil twin) battling the good side of you
(11). Instead of indulging on a human's glory (ex. fantasizing about being with a woman), indulge on God's glory and the desire to being with Him. Whenever my dark side (sinful nature) tries to entertain lust, I've learned to listen to my good side (new nature) to sing songs (ex. "I just want to be where You are" by Don Moen) which focus on God's glory and the desire to be with Him. This helps me to take my focus off of women and instead onto God. Bring your focus onto the Holy Ghost, for He is the Living Water that will quench all of our desires (refer to John 4:10-15 and John 7:37-39).
This ("The evil spirit of lust") is another website which has articles which deals with the various aspects of lust. I can't post all links on those website, but feel free to search their website if you want to get spiritual solutions to the topic of lust, sexual dreams, sexual fantasy and masturbation. There are evil spirits behind these things with the intent to lead us astray and destroy us.
(12). Remember that Jesus Christ has set you from slavery to sin through His own suffering, death, and resurrection. When you feel overwhelmed by temptations, remember that your sinful nature in you wants to enslave you. Instead, claim the spiritual freedom that Christ won for you! It reminds me of the song "Now we are free" from the movie "Gladiator" and it's final scene where Maximus is victorious but dies. One of his dying requests was for his fellow gladiator slaves to be freed. Similarly and much more important was Christ's redemption of us (refer to Romans 6:15-23).
(13). Jesus taught that our sinful thoughts are what defile us. Many times, we think that we sin only if we act upon our thoughts (turning our sinful thoughts into sinful actions). However, Jesus Christ taught differently in order to help us recognize our errors and the root of our problems. Sin is conceived in our minds, hence, we need to take radical steps to control our thoughts (refer to Romans 8:5-8 and Mark 7:14-23). Instead of thinking about sinful desires, think about things which please the Holy Ghost.
(14). Don't allow lust for women or for anything else in this world replace your love for God (this can be seen as idolatry, which I've already talked about above). Many times out of loneliness and the craving for sex and romance/companionship (because of what we see in the world around us), we resort to satisfying our lustful desires through sexual fantasy and masturbation. Always learn to remember how Jesus Christ never succumbed to sin while He was on earth. He is our lone example and inspiration. In my loneliness, whenever I feel tempted seeing other people in relationships, I remind myself that Christ was in the same boat as me 2,000 years ago. He successfully resisted and overcame all of the temptations He faced. One of the best ways to stop yourself from sinning is to remind yourself that you need to love God more than any lustful desire. On a daily basis, learn to nail your carnal desires on your personal cross of suffering. Being a disciple of Christ requires you to love God with all your heart. This means that you have to give up carnal desires as well as be ready to lose things which you have in this world (wealth, relationships, etc.). Refer to the following verses:
Ephesians 5:5-7 (NIV):
"For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners with them."
Matthew 10:37-39 (NLT):
“If you love your father or mother more than you love me, you are not worthy of being mine; or if you love your son or daughter more than me, you are not worthy of being mine. 38 If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. 39 If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it."
Luke 14:26-28,33 (NLT):
“If you want to be my disciple, you must, by comparison, hate everyone else—your father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple. 27 And if you do not carry your own cross and follow me, you cannot be my disciple.
28 “But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it?
33 So you cannot become my disciple without giving up everything you own."
Galatians 5:24 (NLT):
"Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there."
(15). When tempted, instead of seeking for ways to indulge in and satisfy your lustful desires, seek the way out from it which God has promised that He will show you. Remember that sinful desires like lust are the path to your own destruction in eternity. The beauty of a woman can be such a deceiving thing. It's so powerful that it can enslave people in lust and blind them to their own eternal destruction (lust for beauty creates a temporary euphoria and has an intoxicating effect to the mind). In the Garden of Eden, the fruit from the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil" was also appealing to the eye. However, behind it's beauty was the power to cause death to humans. Hence, we need to train our minds to see lust for beauty as a deadly thing. It's similar to how we are taught to avoid certain animals and insects. Some of them can have a pretty and colorful exterior which is a warning for people to stay away from them. Many times, you won't realize that you are blinded in sin. Ask Jesus Christ to give you spiritual sight (insight/enlightening) to see recognize the seriousness of sin in your life (I believe this is what Lord Jesus is referring to in Revelation 3:18).
Revelation 3:18 (NLT):
"So I advise you to buy gold from me—gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. Also buy white garments from me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see."
Matthew 5:28-30 (NLT):
"But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
1 Cor. 10:13 (NLT):
"The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure."
***This is why one should never follow sociopathic ideologies like Calvinism/Free Grace theology. Such ideologies which give people false assurances regarding sin creates sociopaths. I've seen people who follow such ideologies claiming that God will not punish them even if they continue to be sinners (they do this by misquoting Romans 8:1). The Bible contradicts their claims as it warns that God will punish even Christians when they sin. Hence, such destructive ideologies are creating sociopaths and inviting God's wrath on themselves.
1 Corinthians 12:12,27 (NLT):
"The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ.
27 All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it."
Romans 12:4-5 (NLT):
"Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, 5 so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other."
Genesis 5:1-3 (NLT):
"This is the written account of Adam’s family line.
When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God. 2 He created them male and female and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind” when they were created.
3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth."
1 Timothy 5:2 (NLT):
"Treat older women as you would your mother, and treat younger women with all purity as you would your own sisters."
1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (NLT):
"Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. 19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body."
1 Corinthians 3:16-17 (NLT):
"Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? 17 God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple."
2 Samuel 7:5-7 (NLT):
“Go and tell my servant David, ‘This is what the Lord has declared: Are you the one to build a house for me to live in? 6 I have never lived in a house, from the day I brought the Israelites out of Egypt until this very day. I have always moved from one place to another with a tent and a Tabernacle as my dwelling. 7 Yet no matter where I have gone with the Israelites, I have never once complained to Israel’s tribal leaders, the shepherds of my people Israel. I have never asked them, “Why haven’t you built me a beautiful cedar house?”’
Acts 17:24-28 (NLT):
“He is the God who made the world and everything in it. Since he is Lord of heaven and earth, he doesn’t live in man-made temples, 25 and human hands can’t serve his needs—for he has no needs. He himself gives life and breath to everything, and he satisfies every need. 26 From one man he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries.
27 “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us. 28 For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’
1 Thessalonians 4:3-8 (NLT):
"God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin. 4 Then each of you will control his own body and live in holiness and honor— 5 not in lustful passion like the pagans who do not know God and his ways. 6 Never harm or cheat a fellow believer in this matter by violating his wife, for the Lord avenges all such sins, as we have solemnly warned you before. 7 God has called us to live holy lives, not impure lives. 8 Therefore, anyone who refuses to live by these rules is not disobeying human teaching but is rejecting God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you."
Galatians 6:7-8 (NLT):
"Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. 8 Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.
Romans 8:5-8 (NLT):
"Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. 6 So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. 7 For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. 8 That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God."
Mark 7:14-23 (NLT):
"Then Jesus called to the crowd to come and hear. “All of you listen,” he said, “and try to understand. 15 It’s not what goes into your body that defiles you; you are defiled by what comes from your heart.”
17 Then Jesus went into a house to get away from the crowd, and his disciples asked him what he meant by the parable he had just used. 18 “Don’t you understand either?” he asked. “Can’t you see that the food you put into your body cannot defile you? 19 Food doesn’t go into your heart, but only passes through the stomach and then goes into the sewer.” (By saying this, he declared that every kind of food is acceptable in God’s eyes.)
20 And then he added, “It is what comes from inside that defiles you. 21 For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, 22 adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. 23 All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you.”
Psalm 119:14-16,113-120 (NLT):
"I have rejoiced in your laws
as much as in riches.
15 I will study your commandments
and reflect on your ways.
16 I will delight in your decrees
and not forget your word.
113 I hate those with divided loyalties,
but I love your instructions.
114 You are my refuge and my shield;
your word is my source of hope.
115 Get out of my life, you evil-minded people,
for I intend to obey the commands of my God.
116 Lord, sustain me as you promised, that I may live!
Do not let my hope be crushed.
117 Sustain me, and I will be rescued;
then I will meditate continually on your decrees.
118 But you have rejected all who stray from your decrees.
They are only fooling themselves.
119 You skim off the wicked of the earth like scum;
no wonder I love to obey your laws!
120 I tremble in fear of you;
I stand in awe of your regulations.
Reference to song- "I just want to be where You are" by Don Moen
"I just want to be where You are,
dwelling daily in Your presence
I don't want to worship from afar,
draw me near to where You are
I just want to be where You are,
in Your dwelling place forever
Take me to the place where You are,
I just want to be with You
I want to be where You are,
dwelling in Your presence
Feasting at Your table,
surrounded by Your glory
In Your presence,
that's where I always want to be
I just want to be,
I just want to be with You
I just want to be where You are,
to enter boldly in Your presence
I don't want to worship from afar,
draw me near to where You are
Oh, my God,
You are my strength and my song
And when I'm in Your presence
Though I'm weak You're always strong"
