Believe in God's word

Have faith in God's word- the Bible.

Satan's biggest strategy to destroy people's joy, peace and hope is by making them doubt God's word. Satan and the demons know that God exists and that He is One (The Trinity united as One). Satan and his demons tremble at that truth. However, that doesn't stop them from being twisted and deceiving others to doubt God's promises/abandon their faith in God altogether. Satan is the father of sociopathy- he's been a liar, deceiver and murderer from the beginning (refer to John 8:44). Satan is a narcissistic sociopath [he suffers from mental disorders- narcissistic personality disorder and antisocial personality disorder (sociopathy/psychopathy)]. He brought death to mankind through his deception in the Garden of Eden, and he hasn't stopped since. How did he cause Adam and Eve to sin in the first place? By making them doubt God's word.

Genesis 3:1-6 (NLT):
"The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?”

2 “Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. 3 “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’”

4 “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. 5 “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”

6 The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too."

Satan is a sly and vile being. All he did was sow the seed of doubt into them regarding the reliability of God's command to not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and the consequence of death resulting from disobeying that command. He started out his attack to instill this doubt by gaslighting them. Gaslighting is a common sociopathic tactic used to create doubt in a person's memory regarding past events and create doubt regarding their ability to correctly practice moral judgment of things. Satan started out gaslighting them by asking them if God actually commanded them to not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden (this was to create doubt regarding their memories). Eve's memory didn't fail her and she recited God's command perfectly back to Satan. She explained how God didn't forbid all trees in the Garden of Eden, only the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Satan realized that targeting her memory wouldn't work now, so then he resorted to make Eve doubt God's warning of death. He lied to her and deceived her to think that God was lying to her about death being the consequence. He resorted to paint God as a liar who was making such commandments in order to prevent others from attaining forbidden wisdom to become like God. This doubt created by Satan through deception was able to convince Eve that Satan was speaking the truth and that God was the liar. Notice how Eve put faith in Satan's words by being convinced by what she saw. She saw that the forbidden tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious. It shows the pitfalls of basing your faith on what you're able to see. Looks can be deceiving (what we see can deceive us)! The world has advanced in this form of deception by sight. Take a look at entertainment- everything is geared to make what you see on TV, movies, and video games as believable (realistic). However, when you look at behind the scenes of how they create shows and movies with special effects, you start realizing how fake and deceptive it is. Satan is using such medium to influence and change our cognition (the way we should think and reason). Even though you may realize the deception behind sources of entertainment today regarding their realistic portrayal of things, Satan sows seeds of destruction into your mind to hunger after fantasy and fiction. He also sows the destructive seed of faith by sight to replace faith by hearing God's word. Satan also attacks people today with fears/doubts regarding their lives and future as part of his gaslighting strategy (be aware/on alert regarding how Satan is well known to use evil people around you to engage in such psychological warfare against you) .
Satan the sociopath is still waging this war against mankind. How many people have been deceived to think that the word of God (the Holy Bible) is just some ancient script which can't be trusted? Satan instills in people a hunger for signs and scientific evidence for the existence of God for them to be convinced. The Bible teaches that faith is not by sight (refer to 2 Cor. 5:7 and Hebrews 11:1), instead it's from hearing the word of God (refer to Romans 10:17). Look at the Biblical definition of faith in Hebrews 11:1 (NIV)- "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." However, Satan is trying to redefine faith by propagating the false notion that faith has to be based on sight (by what you are able to see). There are so many things invisible to the naked eye of a human because of our limitations to all of our senses. Just because we can't perceive something with our senses, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. For example, quarks, electrons, atoms, nuclei, DNA, cell organelles, various gases, components of the light spectrum (X-rays, gamma rays, UV rays, infrared light), different radio frequencies, different audio frequencies, etc. can't be perceived with our naked senses. There are so many living organisms that can't be perceived with our senses like bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi, etc. Who can see everything in outer space with their naked eye? They exist regardless of us being able to perceive them. Science and technology enables our naked senses to perceive and understand about all of these things. You need specialized microscopes to visualize things which are too small to see for the naked eye. You need telescopes to see things in outer space. Likewise, in order perceive a spiritual being like God, you need faith. Faith is the special tool you need to perceive God with your spirit. God is an invisible Spirit, hence, there's no technology that can be developed to aid our senses to perceive Him. He is a spiritual being, and hence, we can only perceive Him by our own spirit through faith. God has given us His word (the Bible) in order that we can spiritually hear His voice. When you read the Bible (by sight) or hear someone speaking from the Bible, God's word will be propagated through those bodily senses and be transmitted to your inner being (your spirit) in order that faith may come to you.

John 20:29 (NLT)- Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.” May all of us not be like doubting Thomas- who relied on evidence based reasoning to believe that Jesus had resurrected. Let us put our faith in God based on hearing His word.

God enabled the writer of Hebrews to see the truth that we and the rest of God's creation were created from things which are unseen (refer to Hebrews 11:3). Our bodies are composed of quarks, electrons, atoms, nuclei, cell organelles, DNA, etc. None of these things can be visualized by the naked eye. Yet, the writer of Hebrews confidently wrote that verse as he trusted in God's inspiration. He had faith that everything which God inspired and revealed to him was true, even though he wasn't given the full understanding and details as we understand through science today. The writer of Hebrews (just like other people in his time- which was about 2,000 years ago) had no idea regarding the modern scientific terms and explanations to describe the composition of our body, yet even he knew by faith that God had created humans from things which they couldn't visualize and fully understand. Notice how God revealed this truth 2,000 years ago through the Bible and how it's taken the span of 2,000 years (from the time the Epistle to the Hebrews was written until now, the modern time period) for humans to discover and grasp the scientific evidence we're able to perceive and understand today. God has revealed even a more profound truth in Acts 17:28 and Colossians 1:17 that we are held together, live, move, and exist in Him. When will science be able to grasp and understand that? Will it take another 2,000 years or is that even possible to understand by human wisdom?
Colossians 1:15 states that Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God (the Trinity). When God the Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, as the visible image (flesh/human form) to the earth 2,000 years ago, many people still doubted Him, despite all the miracles He performed. They kept asking Him for a sign and Christ said that the only sign He would give to such people is the sign of Jonah- i.e. Jesus dying and being buried for 3 days and then resurrecting on the third day (refer to Matthew 12:38-40). Despite even that sign, many people refused to believe in Him back then and even now. Why didn't all of the Jews in Israel as well as the Romans come to their senses after they found the empty tomb which was guarded by Roman soldiers? It just shows that no matter how many miracles and signs you give to such skeptics, nothing will ever satisfy them. Their refusal to believe in God is what keeps them trapped in a state of unbelief of trying to redefine faith by sight (signs/physical evidence) and human wisdom- the trap of the devil (refer to 2 Timothy 2:23-26). No one can perceive God without faith and a clean heart (refer to Hebrews 11:6 and Jeremiah 29:13). Unbelief and sin is what prevents our spirits from perceiving God. People back in Jesus' time were looking for a powerful and political figure who would exercise authority and judgment. Jesus' First Coming wasn't to exercise his political power and world dominion. It was to address the problem with our sinful state/nature and to bring a solution for it through His redemptive work on the Cross of Calvary (His redemptive work killed our sinful nature and opened the way for us to receive a new righteous nature. Refer to Romans 6:6-13 , Galatians 5:24, Colossians 3:9-10, Ephesians 4:22-24). The world today continues to look for a charismatic political leader who will bring prosperity and peace to the world, instead of someone who can provide a solution to the root of the problems in the world- sin. Sin is the root of all problems in the world. It causes suffering and death. No human political leader can provide the solution for sin. Since Satan has been influencing the world to base their faith on sight and human wisdom, the world will be deceived in the future by a false messiah- the Antichrist (during the Great Tribulation) and the False Prophet. Satan (the dragon) will give the Antichrist (the first beast) his own power and throne and great authority (Revelation 13:2,7) to rule the world. The Antichrist will not bring a solution to sin, pain, and suffering. In fact, the Bible says that he is the man of lawlessness. Under him, the moral condition of the world will further deteriorate inviting God's wrath on the world. Hence, this upcoming narcissistic sociopathic leader called the Antichrist will not be the solution for the world's problems. Only Jesus Christ is able to set us free sin and its consequences. Only God can get rid of everything which causes sin in the world and also get rid of sin's consequence of death (refer to Revelation 20:14) in the future. Only God is able to create a new earth where there is no more sin, sorrow, pain, and death (refer to Revelation 21:1-4 and Isaiah 65:17) . Can any human political leader do any of these things? No! Can a powerful supernatural being like Satan give a new hope to mankind by creating a new earth? No! All Satan is interested in is accomplishing his own narcissistic sociopathic agenda of magnifying himself by drawing the world's worship and allegiance to him. Mankind will not gain anything from his selfish agenda. If mankind worships Satan and gives their allegiance to him, they will suffer for eternity in the lake of fire and burning sulfur. Thus, Satan is the bane of mankind's existence.
A second beast will also arise known as the False Prophet. Satan will speak through this False Prophet. The False Prophet will exercise all the authority of the first beast (the Antichrist) and introduce a new world religion in which he will require the world to worship the Antichrist. The False Prophet will perform signs and miracles on behalf of the Antichrist (refer to Revelation 13:12-15 and Revelation 19:20) to deceive the world in order to gain their trust. The False Prophet will also introduce a new financial system in the world based on the Mark of the Beast (refer to Revelation 13:16-18). The Antichrist and the False Prophet will be Satan's sociopathic human henchmen who will draw the world's worship and allegiance to Satan. Just like how Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God (refer to Colossians 1:15), Satan (an invisible being) will bring the Antichrist and the False Prophet to be the visible image of himself. Satan will send false messiahs and false prophets to perform great signs and wonders to deceive a world who is searching for signs to base their faith on (refer to Matthew 24:24-25 and Revelation 13:13-14). Thus, you can see why Satan has been trying to redefine faith by sight and human wisdom- it's all part of his own agenda to exalt himself above God and draw worship to himself. God will allow him to succeed for a short time only to humiliate and defeat him afterwards. Jesus Christ will come back again after the Great Tribulation (the Second Coming) to defeat the Antichrist and the False Prophet, bind Satan, and establish His reign on earth. At that time, skeptics of God will get their confirmation (as they will see Christ coming in His glory), however, it will be too late to for them to be saved from God's judgment and wrath as God desires all people to place faith in Him now (the time period in which they are expected to base their faith not on sight) before the end comes (the Second Coming of Christ and God's judgment).

We're all aware of our own inner being (soul, spirit, heart (not the organ), mind). These things are all invisible. If you dissect the human body, can anyone see these things? No. However, they still exist regardless of us not being able to perceive them with our senses.

1 Cor. 2:11 (NLT):
"No one can know a person's thoughts except that person's own spirit, and no one can know God's thoughts except God's own Spirit."

***We can only perceive God by our spirits through faith.

John 4:24 (NLT):
"For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth."

We project our thoughts into physical manifestations through speaking and writing. If we lost our ability to speak because of some pathology in our body (vocal cord damage, nerve damage, etc.), we wouldn't be able to speak to each other or hear our own voices. Likewise, if we had some neurological problem which disabled us from writing, we wouldn't be able to communicate with others through that manner either. If all of our senses and modes of communication in our body were knocked out, it still wouldn't mean that our inner being is paralyzed nor prove that we have lost the ability to think nor prove the absence of our inner being. For example, a mute person is still aware of their own thoughts and self (their own inner being). Just because a person has lost their ability to communicate with someone through their bodily functions doesn't mean that their spirit/inner being is absent from their body.  My point in all of this is- our spirit (inner being) is separate from our body and its senses (refer to Matthew 10:28). Our spirit only depends on our body to interact with the world around us. If our bodies didn't function properly, we wouldn't be able to sense the world around us and neither communicate with each other. However, our inner being would still be in existence. The Bible teaches that God is an invisible Spirit. Our spirits are also invisible. If you dissect the human body, who can visualize a person's spirit? No one can, because it's invisible. The nature of a spirit is invisibility. The nature of the human body is to be visible. Both have different natures. Just because God is a Spirit who doesn't have a human body, it doesn't mean that He doesn't exist (note: God did send His Son, Jesus Christ, in the human form to display to the world the visible image of Himself. Colossians 1:15 states that Jesus Christ is the visible image of God). Interestingly, the Bible further reveals that there was nothing attractive about Christ's outer appearance which would interest the world. Rather, it was Christ's character (inner beauty) that has drawn many people to Him. These truths resonate how God wants us to be like Him- transform our inner being to be righteous like Him so that we may also shine in glory. Outer glory is nothing compared to inner glory. It means God can't be perceived with our physical senses. Spirits can only be perceived by each other. This means that we can typically only perceive God by our spirits through faith, not by our bodies. The Bible teaches that God's Spirit testifies with our spirits that we are His children when we place our faith in Him and turn away from our sins (refer to Romans 8:16). This is how God interacts with us- the interaction is between His Spirit and our spirits (not our bodies). God is not limited to anything and I say that because if He chooses to, He can let your body's senses experience/perceive Him. I've been fortunate to have experienced God's Spirit at various times in my body as an electrical/tingling sensation flowing through my body (from my head flowing to the rest of my body). However, like I said before, typically, He doesn't do that (refer to 1 Samuel 3:1). However, I believe that according to God's promise in the New Testament, He will pour His Spirit upon all people (logically, I believe this means those who have faith in Him and who have turned away from their sins) in a more powerful manner in the last days (end times). He will pour out His Spirit upon His followers so that He can speak through them (refer to Acts 2:17-18). God wants us to base our faith in Him not based on sight/other physical senses, but instead base our faith in Him by His word (having faith that God exists based on God's word-the Holy Bible). God used His own finger to engrave the Ten Commandments onto stone tablets. This shows that God isn't limited to anything. If He wants, He can speak to us in an audible manner or write things to us which we can see. One can ask why did God then use humans to write the Bible? Again, He could've written the Bible using His own hands. However, I believe that one of the possible reasons that God inspired men to write the Bible was to teach us about faith- i.e. faith not based on sight (scientific evidence to prove the existence of God), rather faith based on hearing God's word. Since men wrote the Bible, this creates the crossroad of faith and doubt. Each person has to choose which road they want to take. The road of faith requires you to stop depending on your physical senses to experience God. The road of doubt/evidence based reasoning requires you to base your faith on sight which limits you as a consequence. It confines you in a box, mentally. It doesn't allow you to reason outside of the box of evidence based reasoning to experience God. It becomes a trap instead for you to never know and experience God. Just like how God isn't limited to anything (time, space, etc.), He wants us to not be limited in our reasoning/cognition. I believe these are spiritual baby steps to becoming more and more like Him. He wants us to do the impossible through faith. How were the disciples able to do miracles? It was through their faith in God. This is what Jesus emphasized over and over again- nothing is impossible for the one who believes! Star Wars has some good spiritual themes in it which especially deals regarding faith. I remember when Yoda was trying to teach Luke about faith in "Episode 5-The Empire Strikes Back." Luke's X-wing Starfighter sinks in the swamp and he loses all hope. Yoda tells him to use the Force to retrieve it. However, Luke starts doubting. He bases his doubt on what he reasons- based on evidence (the fighter ship is too big to retrieve from the swamp). Yoda confidently replies that he can do it because he knows the Force is his ally. Luke's doubt fails him to retrieve the X-wing fighter, and instead Yoda successfully exercises his faith in the Force (you can refer to a short clip of this on Youtube- "Yoda teaching Skywalker (faith)." Just like how Yoda exercised his faith in the Force, we need to exercise our faith in God. So many times, I've felt God using such things even outside of the Bible to remind me of what the Bible already teaches regarding faith. So many times, I've felt that I let God down when I've doubted victory when facing impossible situations in life. God patiently still tries to teach me to develop and increase my faith in Him!

I think that God may have purposely done many things (not easily reveal Himself in every manner to satisfy His skeptics and all of their doubts) in order to develop faith in us. If all of our doubts could've been easily quenched with evidence based reasoning, then there would be no need for faith. I think that goes against God's purpose and goal He desires in our lives. I wonder if a blind person would be better at developing a strong faith (since he can't depend on sight/evidence based reasoning)? I've learned in my own life that God values faith a lot. God wants me and you (the reader) to develop faith in our lives. Why? Because it's a powerful weapon. When you develop faith, you become a spiritual hero (refer to the examples in Hebrews 11). You become a spiritual hero when you make God your partner. You become one spirit with God. When you select partners or teammates, you put your faith in them to do their jobs in order to win. A team effort can be such a powerful thing. God wants you to be His partner/teammate to do extraordinary things for the purpose of good. People go to the gym and train to become stronger and healthier. People bulk up and try to become muscular to look like heroes. How many people try to become muscular to imitate celebs they admire and also to draw the adoration and worship of others? None of those things helps you spiritually. Your spirit has to operate by faith. Your spirit has to become stronger and spiritually muscular by developing faith. How did David defeat Goliath? David was a scrawny teenager going up against a giant. David had no physical strength to match up to Goliath. People around him thought of him as the underdog and probably thought he was going to get killed. So what was the difference maker? David had faith in God. David knew that all he had to do was physically take himself in front of Goliath and sling the stone at him. God would take care of the rest- i.e. God using His own power to supernaturally magnify the impact of a small stone to kill Goliath. If David, the disciples of Jesus Christ, or other heroes of faith in the Bible had reasoned by evidence based reasoning, they would've never been able to show people around them their heroic deeds and miracles (i.e. they would've not allowed God to work through them to do impossible miracles). They would've been stuck looking at difficult situations (mountains) they faced in their lives (like winning battles, healing people, etc.) as impossible things to perform. However, they took the bold step of placing their faith in God to empower them even when their questions/doubts arising from their human logic and reasoning were not answered. They knew that God works outside of their human reasoning to do the impossible. Evidence based reasoning is what prevents people like atheists stuck psychologically from ever experiencing and knowing God. For them, they'll claim that evolution is something they can believe in because they can see evidence of it. If such atheists were blind, how would they be able to reason based on evidence? They wouldn't be able to. They would either reject teachings (including evolution) or accept them based on what someone else told them (i.e. they would be placing their faith based on hearing someone else's word). If atheists didn't have modern technology to visualize things invisible (which I already mentioned above) to the naked eye, how would they be able to believe in the existence of such things? Many of them would die refusing to believe in their existence because they weren't able to visualize them. In relation to God, the same thing is happening with them. They refuse to believe in God's existence because they can't visualize Him. They fail/refuse to understand that God can only be experienced/perceived by your spirit through Biblical faith (faith is like the spiritual tool which is needed to know and experience God). That's why many atheists die in stupidity not ever knowing or experiencing God because they have the wrong idea of faith. I've learned a valuable lesson in my life in my interactions with atheists as well as others who don't fear God. Those who don't acknowledge or fear God tend to be dangerous sociopaths. They will define their own moral standards. To them, helping others (philanthropy) makes them a good person. However, they will have perverted views on other things like sexual purity. I've come across atheists who were some of the most dangerous sexual predators (they claimed to be straight, but they had homosexual tendencies). Romans 1:18-32 teaches of how the refusal to acknowledge, worship God as well as having a perverted view of God causes people's minds to become dark and confused. When this happens, such people sink in their shameful and perverted desires (ex. homosexuality and other perversions). From my past lessons, I've learned to be wary of atheists as well as anyone else that is carnal minded (including carnal Christians). They tend to be dangerous sociopaths.

Do you want to become powerful in all areas of your life? Become a spiritual superhero! Become a hero of the faith! Join the rest of the group of heroes of faith in the Bible (Hebrews chapter 11 is known as the "Hall of Faith or the Faith Hall of Fame). God desires faith from us because it allows Him to work through our weaknesses in order to bring glory to Himself. He wants people to see His glory and power so that those who don't know Him (especially His skeptics) will come to know Him. God wants to empower us when we know we're too weak to face things in this life. God can only work in our lives when we place our faith in Him. We can only experience Him by our spirits through faith.

However, Satan has deceived the world to reason based on sight (signs, physical evidence) and human wisdom (evidence based reasoning).

1 Cor. 1:18-23 (NLT):
"The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God. 19 As the Scriptures say,

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise
and discard the intelligence of the intelligent.”

20 So where does this leave the philosophers, the scholars, and the world’s brilliant debaters? God has made the wisdom of this world look foolish. 21 Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never know him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching to save those who believe. 22 It is foolish to the Jews, who ask for signs from heaven. And it is foolish to the Greeks, who seek human wisdom. 23 So when we preach that Christ was crucified, the Jews are offended and the Gentiles say it’s all nonsense."

Psalm 14:1-2 (NLT):
"Only fools say in their hearts,
    “There is no God.”
They are corrupt, and their actions are evil;
not one of them does good!
2 The Lord looks down from heaven
    on the entire human race;
he looks to see if anyone is truly wise,
    if anyone seeks God."

For believers, it's important to never entertain any doubt in God's word. In the Bible, I was reminded of Zechariah being punished for not believing in God's promises (refer to Luke 1:19-20). Wasn't this the same problem for the Israelites and the cause of their wandering in the desert for 40 years? If they had walked by faith and obeyed God's commands instead of doubting and rebelling against Him, they would've reached the Promised Land in a short time. Normally it wouldn't have taken anyone 40 years to travel from Egypt to the Promised Land, even by walking. The distance from Egypt to the land of Canaan (the Promised Land aka modern day Israel) was about 300 miles. If they covered about 30 miles a day by walking, they would've probably reach it in about 2 weeks. However, God punished their unbelief and rebellion by making them wander and circle in the desert for 40 years! It's such a powerful reminder for us to never doubt God. Let Him guide your life by trusting Him and being faithful and obedient to Him. Fear and worry (lack of faith in God's provision, deliverance, protection, and victory) robs you of your future.

Train yourself to let go of fear! Don't be afraid of losing anything in this world (ex. your own life, relationships, material things, wealth, job, etc.). The world around us constantly tries to instill fear in us in every area of our life (ex. health, job, security, education, people getting ahead of you, etc.). If your human and spiritual enemies take something away from you (which you have been fearing of losing), they themselves make you lose fear and render themselves powerless against you. Also, whatever God allows to be taken away from you by your enemies, God knows how to multiply and bless you more than before (refer to the life of Job in the Bible).

All sociopaths will get what they deserve in the future

Recently, I've been seeing a celebrity having a hard time in his own life. He's clearly a sociopath and people have hated him for a long time. I didn't agree with his sociopathic behavior and tactics, but I always thought perhaps some good might still be in him. Nevertheless, things are falling apart in his own life despite the success he's had in the past. Now people are trolling him and enjoying seeing his fall from glory. I hope he learns his lesson, repents, and becomes a better person so that God will lift him up in due time. However, if he chooses to continue to indulge in his sociopathic behavior, he invites his own destruction. This is how Satan blinds people today (he blinds them through their success to make them think that as long as they have success, it's ok to be evil) . He is the ultimate sociopath. With human sociopaths, change is still possible, even though it's a difficult and rare thing for them to change. However, with Satan, he will never …

Brethren vs Pentecostal debate (Snehasamvadham)

Couple of months back, various Malayalee Brethren and Pentecostal Bible teachers came together to have a debate regarding various topics. Refer to the following links:

(1). Pentacost-Brethren Snehasamvadham- Dallas 2016

(2).Post-debate thoughts by Pr. Shibu Peediakal and Br. Ashish Jacob

(3).Pr. Shibu Peediakal refuting Brethren Assembly Preachers again

One of the topics that Pastor Shibu has addressed in various clips on his Youtube channel is regarding speaking in tongues (which of course, the Brethren teach that this gift has ceased with the early Church). Personally, I don't believe that the gift of tongues has ceased. Will all believers speak in tongues to demonstrate they have been baptized by the Holy Ghost? It's a very controversial question and subject. From studying Scripture, I personally haven't been convinced that speaking in tongues is a mandatory requirement for all believers. Each has a different gift that the Holy Ghost gives them in order to minister to o…

Who are no longer under condemnation to eternal damnation?

I’ve come across hypocritical gossips among carnal Christians (especially in my experiences with Malayalee Brethren) who point to verses like Romans 8:1, and then misquote and misinterpret it to promote carnality and licentiousness. That’s what is really funny. Brethren gossips contradict themselves and make fools out of themselves. Why gossip and bully others when they themselves believe and preach that God will not condemn or punish any Christian, no matter what sins they do? When you confront such people regarding their evil and hypocritical behavior, they will throw Romans 8:1 in your face and say that God will not punish them for their evil behavior. If you respond with verses which warn about God’s punishment to even Christians (ex. Galatians 6:7-10; Revelation chapters 2-3, etc.), they will continue to take you around in circles by falling back on their doctrines (penal substitutionary atonement, imputed righteousness, unconditional election, unconditional eternal security/name…
