The spiritual cure for fear/anxiety

I want to quote couple of statements (which are very encouraging points) from the article (Did Jesus experience "doubt" and "fear"?) by Denny Burk:

"In the Bible, doubt and fear are sins. In fact, Jesus Himself describes doubt as the opposite of faith (Matt. 14:31; 21:21; Mark 11:23). In very explicit terms, Jesus himself commands his disciples not to “fear” those who persecute them (Matt. 10:26, 28, 31). No less than seven times, Jesus himself commands his disciples not to be “anxious” about their lives (Matt. 6:25, 31, 34; Mark 10:19; 13:11; Luke 12:11, 22). And then of course, Jesus’ half brother James had this to say about doubt:

James 1:6-8- The one who doubts is like the surf of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, 8 being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

To say that Jesus had doubts and fears is to make him into a transgressor. But that is not at all the biblical…

Calvinism and choosing the right friends, spouse, and church

I've learned the difficult way in the past that Calvinists are the wrong people to befriend and moreover marrying. Anyone who thinks that they have unlimited grace from God (living under the dispensation of grace as they claim) to sin is clearly a dangerous sociopath. If they have no problems abusing God's grace, they could care less of hurting you in any manner. As it is, narcissism and sociopathy are prevalent personality disorders among Indians (especially among women). Calvinism is clearly a sociopathic ideology. Hence, if you fuel their narcissistic sociopathy with Calvinism- they end up being monsters. The more I've looked at the Brethren, I've seen and experienced this. When carnal Christians marry each other- the end product is ungodly children. The modern Brethren churches are examples of this. When I've seen ungodly youth among the Brethren, I looked at their parents to see how they behaved and ungodliness was seen among them. Calvinism is Satan's too…

Will the saints love and know their spouses in heaven?

This article (Marriage in Heaven? Will We Know and Love Our Spouses in Heaven?) got me thinking about the mysteries of the new heaven and new earth in the future.

Some verses to consider in regards to this topic.

Isaiah 65:17 (GW):
"I will create a new heaven and a new earth.
Past things will not be remembered.
They will not come to mind."

Revelation 21:1-7,22-26 (NLT):
"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. 2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

5 And the one sitting on the throne said,…
