How does Islam differentiate/distinguish itself from Christianity?

I didn't gather anything from this video [refer to Nouman Ali Khan: How Islam is different from other religions] which differentiates/distinguishes Islam from religions like Christianity. I think all the major religions [Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, etc.] teach that we must do good and abstain from evil. Doesn't the Quran share similarities with the Bible (i.e. the Old Testament) regarding various offenses and their punishment [ex. death for adultery, eye for an eye/tooth for tooth, etc.) as well as promoting circumcision? My question is, how does it differentiate itself from Christianity [i.e. the New Testament]? The apostle Paul wrote in Romans chapter 7 that God's law [i.e. the Old Testament Law/Mosaic law] was holy and good. It revealed God's standard of holiness and in the process showed mankind that they had sinful desires in them. However, the prohibitions in the Old Testament (Old Covenant) law empowered mankind's sinful nature to arous…

Church ostracism/psychological abuse for elitist purposes

Refer to this clip [Restored: On the brink of abortion] to see a young Malayalee Christian couple share their story regarding the contemplation of abortion. It took guts for this couple to come out with their entire story. This is the first time I've seen a Christian Malayalee couple come out publicly to reveal their pre-marital relationship and the contemplation of abortion from their past. It's really unheard of in the Malayalee community as it fuels the fire for shaming. As they said, it's tough being raised and living in a Malayalee environment as they crucify/shame people. It's not only prevalent in the Indian Brethren and Pentecostal church environments, it's also rampant among other denominations as well as among non-Christians (Hindus, Muslims, etc.). They (both adults and the youth) are experts at bullying/psychologically abusing people when caught in sin (it's a cultic environment). I remember coming across older youth leaders who were no better than …

Bible teacher Mathew Kuruvilla teaching to not give a Bible with the Old Testament to a new believer

Many among Christians are promoting false teachings which question the application of the Old Testament to a New Testament believer. There was a recent controversy among Malayalee Pentecostal churches regarding the teachings of Mathew Kuruvilla (aka Brother Thanku). This clip [Mathew Kuruvilla negating the Old Testament] reveals how he was teaching the following regarding the Old Testament:

(1). Don’t give new converts the Old Testament, but instead give only the New Testament.
(2). Just because the Bible is bound together with the Old Testament and New Testament, this doesn’t mean that it is the full Bible.
(3). There is no clear revelation about God in the Old Testament.
(4). Maybe things were written by Moses to lead a generation that were not born again and thus many of the things written by Moses in the Old Testament were not from God.

Wow! I was just baffled hearing his message. Where do I start to refute this kind of nonsense? First off, I’d like to point such Christians to the…

Pastor Shibu Peediakal appreciates some aspects regarding the Brethren

In this clip [refer to Pastor Shibu appreciating the Brethren], Pastor Shibu was criticizing his fellow Pentecostal churches as many among them promote false teachings regarding the Holy Trinity and the deity of Christ.
He appreciated the Plymouth Brethren/Kerala Brethren/Indian Brethren churches for promoting the right teachings regarding such subjects. While the Brethren may teach the right things about the Holy Trinity and the deity of Christ, Pastor Shibu has exposed the Brethren in another clip regarding many of their false teachings. Refer to Pastor Shibu exposing and refuting Brethren teachers.

These are the points he made regarding what the Brethren teach:
(1). teaching that any church who has more than 100 members are to be classified as pigs [in reference to Pentecostal/charismatic churches]
(2). teaching that the Church is divided into different ages. This is based on their misinterpretation of the 7 churches in Revelation. They preach that since the Brethren church formed …

Pastor Anish Kavalam's ban on pants and ties for men

I found this video funny [refer to Pastor Anish Kavalam's criticism of those who wear pants and ties]. I like the Mr. Bean reactions along with the circus music in the background. Made it funnier. I've heard some sermons of Pastor Anish Kavalam calling out people (both men and women) regarding immodest clothing and carnal minded behavior in church meetings- which were good messages. However, his ban against pants and ties are going to the extreme of the conservative end of the spectrum. Also, in this clip, some of the pastors sitting behind him are also wearing pants. Thus, his criticism seems hypocritical in that manner also. This war between extremist conservatives and extremist liberals along with the elitism promoted by both groups is what is destroying Malayalee churches. Malayalees have been terrorists (through psychological abuse/bullying) in their churches for a long time. It's part of their church politics and elitism. Now it has spread to the internet where psych…

Pastor Shibu Peediakal: Why Pentecostal churches have fallen?

One of the things Pastor Shibu mentioned in this clip [refer to Why Pentecostal churches have fallen?] was that traditional Pentecostal churches engage in church politics all the while ignoring the spiritual struggles of young people. He was saying how this is causing the younger generation to flock to "new generation Pentecostal churches."
If the younger generation are flocking to the "new generation Pentecostal" churches," it's probably not because they want to find freedom from sins like sexual immorality. For example, Grace Community ministry promotes the finished atoning work of Christ, which is used by many carnal minded Christians today to promote antinomianism and licentiousness. Pentecostals should read what Joseph Hillary King (a Pentecostal theologian) wrote regarding the heresy promoted among Pentecostals regarding this topic. Refer to "A Reader in Pentecostal Theology: Voices from the First Generation". You can also refer to my other…

Kerala Brethren

I remember reading a comment from a Brethren person for a Youtube clip regarding the Pentecostal teaching of mandatory requirement of tongues for believers (refer to Making tongues a mandatory requirement in order be certified as a Pentecostal). This person was saying how such Pentecostal teachers can't fool everyone to believe their false teachings. Furthermore, regarding the criticism of Pentecostals against the Brethren (in regards to their cessationalism), this person further stated that Brethren churches with intelligence and God's love would rise up. I replied to that person in the following way:
"How is that possible when they themselves are known to be sociopaths? Their entire theology is based on sociopathic ideologies like Calvinism/Free Grace theology (which promote licentiousness). Once, I heard a Brethren preacher say that the Brethren churches have a problem in them regarding their members pecking at each other like birds do. This is God's love? The Mala…

Pastor Shameer Kollam: The rise of prosperity gospel

Refer to the following Youtube clip (Pastor Shameer Kollam calling out Pastor Babu Cherian) to see Pastor Shameer Kollam (a Pentecostal pastor) calling out another Pentecostal for preaching a prosperity gospel.

I just wanted to share my thoughts regarding this topic:
(1). Pastor Shameer hit the bulls-eye regarding this topic of prosperity gospel/carnal minded Christianity. He should be applauded for taking a stand against carnality. However, many people will hate what he preaches because they are no different from the Israelites in the Old Testament and during Jesus' time (refer to Luke 6:20-26). They rather applaud the carnal minded preachers who will say whatever to please their itching ears (sinful nature), as they are narcissistic sociopaths- people with dead consciences who hate what is good and instead love what is evil. They are the very children of the devil (refer to John 8:42-47; 1 Timothy 4:1-2; 1 John 3:3-19 and 3 John 1:11). John the Baptist and Yeshua (Jesus) came ac…

Many Christians don't know how to explain salvation

Refer to the following Youtube clip (RSS activist posing as a pastor) to see the conversation between two Malayalees [i.e. a Christian named Binu conversing with and exposing a RSS activist (Hindu nationalist) named Manu, posing as a pastor].

As I saw this clip, I was reminded how regarding the topic of salvation, many Malayalee Christians (as well as Christians from other races) don't know how to explain salvation to others, especially the critics/enemies of Christianity. When the RSS “pastor” asked Binu regarding what Jesus saved him from, I was expecting a good answer. However, his answer stopped at Christ's life being taken on the cross. Then he jumped to accusing the RSS “pastor” of not knowing the answer to his own question and that's why he's engaging in such wicked behavior (posing as a pastor to deceive people). Not trying to troll Binu, but I've come across plenty of Malayalee Christians who can't explain salvation to others. The central point in expl…

Pastor John Lawrence: A perversion of grace and the Gospel

Refer to the following Youtube clip (Pastor John Lawrence on grace and the Gospel) to see Pastor John Lawrence's views regarding the topics of grace, the Gospel/salvation, and licentiousness.

Pastor John Lawrence stated in the beginning that there were no rules in the Garden of Eden and creation (including Adam and Eve) enjoyed the greatest amount of God's grace there. That is wrong. God clearly created rules in the Garden of Eden. He forbid Adam and Eve to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (refer to Genesis 2:9). God's grace was present before and after their disobedience, however, His grace wasn't meant to be used as a means to sin (nor was it the cause of their sin) as He clearly warned of the consequence for disobeying Him- which was death. The cause of sin was man's own choice to disobey God out of their free will (they wanted the perks of disobedience- i.e. receiving the knowledge to become like God- knowing both good and evil). It was narci…
